This is a channel that we started so that we could share our videos with our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I also sometimes make little silly videos just to amuse myself.
Retirement-One Year Anniversary
Nanny's taking a break from this one and I am just putting together a little video in celebration of my first year of retirement. In this year we've taken our first cruise and also taken our first trip across the Atlantic to Scotland. I am becoming more involved in my community, working with The Leeds Historical Society and Leeds Trails and Tours. I have also gotten back into photography and video. My second year is looking like it is going to be exciting also with trips to Spain and Italy coming up very soon. This video is a little self-indulgent and drags a little but don't worry, Nanny will be back in the limelight soon!

Tiny Town of Corn Tassel

This is the miniature town of Corn Tassel, built in memory of Corntassel, Tennessee. The original town was flooded when the Tennessee Valley Authority flooded the area to build the Ft. Loudon Dam. We recently took a trip to Scotland where we visited Edinburgh, Inverness, Glasgow, Sterling, and several places in the Scottish Highlands including the Isle of Skye, Portree, Glencoe, Loch Ness, and Loch Lomond. The video is a bit quirky as I am an old dog learning new tricks and I'm not very good at this yet.

Big Canoe Creek Nature Preserve

The Forever Wild Land Trust has developed a new nature preserve in Springville, Alabama just about a mile from my son's house. I went there today and walked the Creek Loop Trail, the shortest trail at just 1.4 miles. I got quite a cardio workout and now that I am back at home doing some editing I can say that my legs also got one heckuva workout!
