You'd think Places like oaks park are safer than those traveling parking lot carnivals, but the truth is oaks park only has to get inspected every 6 months, as opposed to the traveling carnivals that have to have a safety inspector take a look every week when they move spots. Every time a ride is setup it needs a safety inspection. Rides that don't get moved and setup elsewhere only get checked every 6 months. These places are not safe.

Ill never understand why some hospitals are this way. I went back in April to our local one because I felt like I was having a heart attack. I had no insurance but was treated wirh care. I ended up having very low potasium and an infection in my gut, heart was great. Blood pressure was high though but im a chronic pain sufferer due to my back. I got admitted for 5 days including my night in the ER. They sent someone who was able to finally get me insurance because im trying to get disability. Ive only gotten one bill and it was way less than what I figured it would be. Itll take me a while to pay it but they know that already, said theyd work with me. What they are doing to patients like this man is pathetic, sad, and unethical. I hope they get sued and punished gor it.

Not the first safety issue Oaks Park has had. 18 years ago, an attendant did not put the restraints over my son and I on a roller coaster. We did the ride in terror as they couldn't fix it. I was badly bruised and my son would've been thrown out of his seat if I wasn't holding onto him. The park was dismissive about it afterward. No one seemed to care. They finally paid me $1,000 after the state got involved. I could have gone to the media.

Homeless have to move every week or they will get false impression they live there. Once they decide they live at a location they become territorial which leads to conflict, accumulate stuff and become hoarders, leave trash around, they think that is their home like old fashion homesteaders, city is doing the correct thing to make them move every week.

Even those cops were considerate of the man even though he was in the position he was in because of his own decisions. When drugs take ahold of you they take hold of your mind as well when your tok far in and you can't make the right decisions most of the time. He needed to stay at the hospital and be watched after administering the narcan and alot of times a second dose is needed and then stabilization. It's sad they didn't make sure he was completely stabilized before calling the police to get him out of there. They need sued. Every single person involved at that hospital. How sad... they could have watched him for 24 hrs and made sure he was stabilized and then transferred him to the mental health facility. He would still be here today. 😢
