My name is Monika Gause and on this channel I'll be discussing pesky Illustrator problems. Why things do not work and how to make them work. These short tutorials show you how to work more efficiently in Illustrator, how to achieve the things you want to achieve using mostly native functionality and how to solve the strange behaviour our favourite application tends to show from time to time. But I'll be covering a plugin or different design apps every now and then.

Yes, you can write decimal numbers. The second integer after the % determines how many places you want after the decimal point. With 0 Illustrator should just use as many as necessary, but if you want only 2, you would write %02.

So, is it the same color but different color translation?
HEX is just a different notation for RGB. When you put that into the color panel of a CMYK document, it automatically immediately gets converted according to color management settings. So it's no longer the same color.
@Vektorgarten thank you for your reply. I copied the HEX code into the document. Saved it, and then we re-opened its different code. I wondered whether its due to color management. I really appreciate your response♥️

@@Vektorgarten What should I use then to send the logo to the client in the same colors that we chose, but in cmyk format... because I am having the same problem that you talked about, the number is different every time I open the color... please help me.
Loosing my mind.. Trying to recolor, but it's like nothing is selected no matter what i do or what selection tool i use, so the color dont change on the QR code.. :/
So you used the Object Mosaic and then you are trying to recolor it using which method? If by chance you are recoloring a black QR code with Recolor Artwork, then you need to first go into the options.

That is some great archeological digging, Monika. Although we consistently recommend .AI and .PDF as file format, it is important to acknowledge that many places still require EPS 😛.

How did you create EPS file? I gave EPS extension to PNG file and created it. But it refused to open in Ai. I use WINDOWS 11.
I created that file in Illustrator. You can just place a PNG in a new Illustrator file, no need to change the extension. Also: changing the extension will not change the file.

May I know, how to delete the brush we created ?
That's a good question. I assume you want to delete it on the iPad, right? On the desktop it's not a problem. On the iPad you can edit some options, but it's not possible to delete them. Other than opening the file on the desktop version, a crude way would be to copy the artwork to a new file.

What kind of objects do you have as an input? Illustrator needs a photo in the background and a vector object on top of that.

I assume that it's simple. But this is a one-woman-show. I am the video editor. And when it comes to audio, I am lost. If it sounds somewhat acceptable, then I upload it. I do not even know what to search for in order to find help and I have tried.
No need to worry! Your audio is still working nicely. I am amazed that you are doing it all yourself. 💯👌 If you're curious to know, you can search how to normalize audio with the name of your editing software. I can also help you with that and will explain through email. 😊
Thanks a lot. I have found the information on how to normalize it in ScreenFlow. Just making it louder afterwards sometimes does work, but sometimes doesn't, as it also enhances background noises, popping and everything. I do not have a recording booth, just a pretty decent headset and an audio interface. My LinkedIn videos are postprocessed by audio pros, but my own videos probably won't ever be - all I can do is use the settings they told me to use :-)
