Interesting about the Julic Castle, similar design to Berwick-Upon-Tweed Garrison fortifications.

What a lovely find old boy. I have zero interest in 4 wheels, but some of those old classic cars looked wonderful. I would have spent a fortune (on coffee) there. So pleased you are back on the road Mr Jon, and remember, if your road trip doesn't have mishaps along the way, its just a road trip, not an adventure. Hi, great content, love the bike, great scenery, The crap music lets it down mate, NO need for constant noise... the vid carries the day, silence or even better the engine sound would be better than some cheap hotel pipe music of grrr crap.

I love your videos. I wish I could make my motorcycle videos on CZcams at least half as good as your vids.. you have a new subscriber.. I always avoid major cities and congestion areas as you do when I make videos here in Pennsylvania, USA.. I like how you put it, you like mooching along. I was influenced forever. What is something that Marlon Brando said in the movie “the wild one” .. The girl he was trying to get acquainted with/actress Mary Murphy in the movie, asked Brando where he and his friends go. When they go for a ride, do they go on a picnic or what? Brando replied with a statement that included these words” we just go”.. those have been my motorcycle riding guidelines for more than four decades now. We just go. I love your videos, I’ll be watching

Another very enjoyable video.A little side note on the ST1100,12 years back when I had mine I was on a US web site there was a guy on there who had 440,000 miles on his and still going he showed photo of the millage,he bought it with 10,000 miles on it.The Honda V4 will go for ever...Safe travels to you both..

My favorite of the family is the NT650GT Hawk / Bros. It’s a pity to lose the shaft drive as such but together with the aluminum frame it makes the bike a little 170 kg squirter without losing too much of its every day practicality. Except the much too small 10 l tank, that is! 😉😁
