Jotaro's victory over Dio maybe one of the biggest asspulls in Fiction. A mere MORTAL, with his lungs impaled and his bones turned to dust... Somehow evading the road roller and getting behind Dio for a "Cool" moment with absolutely no explanation for how any of it is possible other than "But he's really mad bro". It was one of the dumbest conclusions to a fight I'd ever seen and ends with Jotaro acting like he'd suffered no more damage than a couple of bruises and a scraped knee. Dio's damage could be waived off with "He's a Vampire and he regenerates" but Jotaro took CRITICAL DAMAGE multiple times and shrugged it off for no other reason than "Because Araki wanted him to win". If Jotaro had been a Hamon master (he wasn't and barely even know how to use it from what I can tell.) You could argue he's using Hamon to heal, but then we see Hamon masters taking significantly LESS damage and being entirely disabled. People call this an "Epic Fight" but honestly it wasn't... It was one of the dumbest fights I've ever seen because at NO POINT is Jotaro required to follow any law of reason whatsoever. He's permitted an unlimited power boost for the purposes of this fight. Dio might as well be fighting an invincible God entirely divorced from all "Cause and Effect" and if I were told that's what Star Platinum's power actually is, I'd believe it, because that is what was necessary for Jotaro to win this fight. Total bullshit fight that Jotaro should have lost. Dio maybe a scumbag villain but he had no business losing here based on an objective analysis of their powers and how the fight plays out. Araki didn't even have the wherewithall to give him a decent "final blow" but instead just gives Jotaro a temporary GOD BUFF so that he can obliterate Dio with a single hit... All while he should be critically injured to the point of being permanently crippled. So fuckin stupid. Rant over.
