I bought a set of Quattro Thermos in good aesthetic shape because of this video--they are trucks, but I feel like watching (especially where I see them carrying them) that these were assessed by the company and are examples that still pop hard--mine just seem kinda dead compared to a bunch of my other straights (even same era).

Holy shit is right! I used to ski many decades ago but no way I was good enough to tackle that run it’s almost freakin straight down! 😮
Unfortunately turning has become a lost art. Now we are burdened with a community of straight runners. Even in resort boundaries. Spurred on by a community of fragile, incapable morons on fat skis. Hike up your skirts, grow a set and learn how to really ski!

Skiing is sort of silly. These guys should all snowboard I have skiied most of my life. Once I switched to snowboarding, there was no turning back. Just feels so much more natural and soulful instead of mechanical and cold.

I skied Tuckermans when I was a teenager, went down halfway down the Headwall and finished the run sliding on my back head first, trying to dig in my skis and poles. 🙄 All I could think of is all the hiking I did going to waste. 🤣 One good thing I can say about growing up skiing in NH, wherever you go afterwords seems like Heaven. While everyone else is whining and crying, you're like, this is fantastic, super fast ice.
Another NH skier here. I was in Jackson Hole 15 years ago. Worst conditions they had ever seen. Third day there they closed the place until they got snow. To me it was way better than a typical day at Stowe or Waterville or Loon (way better than Loon … haha). I’m sure it’s financial decision. People don’t ski those conditions out there so they close it down because they’re losing money. Crazy. Skiing NE makes you a better skier. Sorry. I write that as I’m on a plane heading to Vail. Don’t judge. First time in 10 years.
