Battling with new velux. Lots of leaks. Builders installed a flashing kit EDW SK10 2000 (red line) with a blue line GGL SK10 3070. Is this a mismatch given the different colours? Would be so grateful for any advice.

Entschuldigung für die Aussage aber velux ist einfach scheiße. Für den Einbau brauch man um einiges länger wie beim anderen Hersteller.für die Einbauanleitung muss ich studiert haben Die Qualität hat auch nachgelassen wie vor 10 Jahren. Ob das die D.F angeht oder innenfutter

1:19 thats upside down from my install ?!! and mine doesnt have the grey seal around that lip !! i found fitting an Omega symbol car door seal at the top of the glass outside helped stopped storm rain blowing in the top vent, ill be adding a 90deg plastic angle length to the frames top lip too to aid this stopping water ingress in high wind.

Thanks for very helpful video but do you have a newer one where there is sufficient lighting as I'm finding it difficult to see some of the details. I've rarely seen such a dark video produced to assist customers. Rather odd from a large company like Velux! Maybe film it in the daylight next time! 😉 NoAxe

My windows is round on the bottom side. I have a space on the left AND right side. When I use the bracket to lift the opposite of f.e. the left side it makes the right space bigger. If I do it for the right side aswell it will even it out back to to the beginng lol. I guess that is not normal?

At 4:03 the cut tiles are laid down but what keeps them in place? Is it just friction? There doesn't seem to be any way to nail them and they have no nibs or batten under them. Should they be glued to the next whole tile or what? Or is the animation a disney fantasy?

For new builds do we have to use the insulated frame around the edge

Good explanation, but if you manually adjust will the windows still close if it starts to rain, or as stated the schedule picks up the following day, or perhaps separate functions?

Dont buy these they will break and cannot be repaired. Velux won't supply parts or fix them.

DON'T BUY THESE DUO BLINDS when they break in 4 or 5 years cannot be repaired. Poor design. Velux will just say replace the blind.

So the hole that you would cut out of the roof would have to be an extra 40-60mm in width and 45mm in height? In the video they mainly talk about the installation baton..

Stll it has problems. I cannot find a way to connect it to my 2,4Mhz home network! Tried everything, searcehd the whole web, nothing. Tottaly NOT user friendly. You should be very ashamed Velux for such a nice products and crapy additional smart controls. Shame on you!

Coorect, It is crap ! , took ages to finally get the gateway to be recognised and work within the app. I had to add it manually to the "Home" app first and then I managed to get it to work. But now it doesnt recognise any of my windows or wall controls. Terrible and a real surprise that it can be so bad !
