We are so very media and technologically connected but socially we are more disconnected than ever. I myself struggle very much with social anxiety after the breakdown of my marriage 10 years ago. I really have to force myself to go out; it’s very very hard sometimes and I feel for these people. Modern society has lost its humanity. 😢

It truly is disappointing and saddening how often I have to put up with assholes who casually insult and act unkindly, even though I have done nothing negative to them. When I was younger, I would have struck back with intensity. Now, I just ignore their vileness and their "assholery". They're just bullies who carried their arrogance beyond their school years. They're just fools.
