Just my preference, i would take points out of Embrace the Pain and Blood Overdrive, because you are not using guns. I would also not invest in Thrill of the Kill because every kill you get in Release the Beast will fully heal you anyway. I would also remove 1 point from both Boiling Blood and Salt the Wound to save for the Hellborn skill tree. Finally, Pain is Power is an optional skill you could invest in, but i think other skills are more useful. This is because it makes melee slightly more powerful at two cost, self melee damage and it nerfs your Buzz Axe Bombardier throws. This is because Buzz Axe Bombardier makes throws do grenade damage, not melee damage, so no benefit from Pain is Power. Unfortunately Pain is Power lowers critical hit damage, so your throws on larger enemies crit spots will do less damage. With the remaining points I would fully invest in Bloodbath, Elemental Elation and Fire Fiend. Bloodbath just for the fact that every Buzz Axe throw or Bloodsplosion kill, will likely drop you a grenade (Tip: every melee kill will trigger Fuel the Blood, making your Buzz Axe Bombardier throws much more powerful). Elemental Elation actually boost the speed of your Buzz Axe throws, these Elemental Elation stacks are much easier to build up if you use a grenade mod like the Infection or Storm Front, but for this no gun challenge, it makes sense to use a slag grenade because you can't use a Slag gun. Fire Fiend will give every strike a chance to catch the enemy on fire, which can catch you on fire (boosting damage reduction from Numbed Nerves), build Elemental Elation stacks and also slightly heal you if you invest in Elemental Empathy. The last two points, you can either invest in Flame Flare or Elemental Empathy. Flame Flare will make it easier to stay on fire (again, increasing damage reduction), while Elemental Empathy will heal you from Fire Fiend or grenade mods (which some people complain it makes it a little more difficult to use Release the Beast, because the health regeneration can heal you past health gate needed to use it, but i don't find an issue with it). This is a lot of info, but i hope it helps anyone reading this.

I think this kind of speedrun needs proper rules , i explain : 1) I think the time should start as soon as the door opens instead of making it start when the 1st enemy appears on the minimap. You can't really prepare to kill an enemy ahead of time when the door opens. 2) A 100% run (where you must kill all the mobs) would be much healthier. Above all, you're going faster because you've managed to skip the mobs at 05:28 . If you can skip the enemies, we might as well allow to do the digistruck peak skip in this case... 3) If it's Melee Zero, there should be a high percentage of enemies killed at melee range (90%+ or 95%+) cause you make many kills with your weapons, not with melee.

What's fascinating about this run is that you didn't rely on bloodbath that much, besides for bossing. Even at lower level it seems to me that without it being active I can't kill anything

This is a old video but I'm impressed and you actually showed what the build can do on op 10 I'm starting a new game on Borderlands 2 and I haven't played in years since I lost 6 years of memory for the game Im glad to see a good video on gaige on op 10
