Overlooking the Amalfi coast there's a track steeped in mythology, called the Path of the Gods. This journey is not for the faint of heart, yet it rewards the brave with vistas that will take your breath away.
As we traversed this path, each step a dance between beauty & danger, we were not merely spectator's, but a part of the landscape's ancient lore.
According to legend, Odysseus was trying to find a passage way home to his wife Penelope. However, the fearsome Sirens that dwelt nearby on Li Galli Isle and were singing their enchanting songs in order to capture Odysseus & his men.
The Gods felt moved to assist Odysseus, so they decided to come down to earth to help. They landed up near the top of the mountain at a place called Bomerano and made their way along the edge of the world towards where Odysseus was.
The track they formed is now known as the Path of the Gods...
