Incredible. Nuages is one of the best songs ever written IMHO and what a fine performance. Florian is a fine violinist who understands and executes the elegant style of Stephan Grappelli but adeptly interjects his own ideas and style. I could listen to him all day!

It started out sinding absolutely amazing then the cacaphony started. I dont know who did the mixing but the violin was just a stupendously horendoujsly over amplified SCREEEEEEEECH so it utterly destroyed any actual musical content there might have been. please redo this with about 80% less volume on the fiddle so it doesnt murder every other instrument?

Florian really makes you fall in love with the sound of that instrument. It’s what Antonio Stratavari had in mind when he made his masterpiece violins. Oh, and Richard Smith is also a monster guitarist. Love listening to him play the entertainer!

I've heard hundreds of renditions of this song. This is arguably the best. No offense to the late great Chet Atkins, but these guys are good.

I saw Richard play solo at the Canadian Fingerstyle Guitar Festival about ten years ago and was awestruck, and this quartet is incredible. Truly magical music.
