Thank you for decades of enjoyment. I discovered you when I was a student at USC and you were artists in residence. Introduced my father to your music - he got the BIGGEST thrill when you played the theme to Hogan's Heroes for an encore. I'm still in love with Joan Jeanrenaud...here's to 50 more years!!

The festival was such a joy and very profound experience for me and many others, indeed, seemingly the entire auditorium at SF JAZZ, who would not let them go at the end of the evening. Standing ovation and five curtain calls! (One for each decade of the quartet's existence, and honoring soon-to-be outgoing Manager Janet Cowperthwaite as the 5th member of the Quartet.) Congratulations to all involved in this wonderful concert and live film Sunday evening, 23 June.

hoi allerliefste lief... wat p tachtig!!! kon ik daar maar bij zijn!!!! vorige maand nog in amsyerdam gezien, viel tegen, te veel nieuwe electronica, tsja, nieuwe moderne tijden en een film over de geschiedenis en af en toe muziek maken... die geschiedenis kende ik al te goed, loop al merr dan 50 jaar met ze mee, maar goed zou daar graag bij willen zijn, maar het idee dat jij daar wel bij bent stelt mij zeer tevreden... jammer dat je niet gebeld heb, had een indringend gesprek met hanny over die a-sociale Karol!!! hanny gaat haar opzeggen, zij wordt er gek van, 87 jaar en dan bepaald Karol haar leven en doet allerhande verkeerde zaken, een pure egoist.... bel mij mij morgen even, niet om vrolijk van te eren, maar ze gaat zo snel mogelijk weg bij hanny en dat is goed voor haar!!!! hup, wegwezen!!! dikke kus en liefs van de hele wereld, ed, het is bijna half vidr en ga verder slapen!!!zaken...
