Are you not using a SIM card because it only works on the Verizon network the most expensive data sim out there?

WIFI? If the cell towers go out, and they do, it is useless.

What sim card works with it

As this device don't have a touch screen, you have to navigate through the app by using the buttons. This is pretty difficult, if it comes to things like aktivate or deactivate the "overlay button" (wich covers way to much if the little display) or to activate or deactivate the PTT-button on the hardware of this ZL10 or ZL 50. Is there any manual or tutorial video available for this? The KSUN ZL50 does not have USB for programming from PC.

Have anybody a idea how can i disable the overlay button? Thanks…

I've had my GMRS license for several years and find that (at least in my part of the country) many operators are pretty difficult to talk to. Ill reach out to people for permission to use a repeater and get zero response. Even when the ctcss codes are published online I've been contacted and told that its a closed repeater and for family only. My experience with my general ham license has been the exact opposite. Ill be talking to some guy on the air and be given codes, tips, and information. I've even been given a great price on a ht and several antennas.

According to the rules in regard to Emergency Communications, that's true. However, that's only other means of communication are not available. That means cell phone systems are down or no signal and you don't have access to a landline.. Most individuals will say, no dah. However, there are some even when other means of communication are available, they'll still use the radio.

You can update Zello using the ADB option. There's a few hacks for them too. Look for ZL10 hacks on CZcams. The ZL60 has been locked down super tight.

You can find the desktop cradle on Amazon, comes from China took about 2 1/2 weeks to get here I have the hamgeek ksun clone same exact zello radio
