I now have over 90 slot cars Revo’s BRM’s NSR’s and Racer’s enjoy your show immensely seen all of them. Someday my wife will let me have one of the spare rooms for a track layout so I can get the cars out of the boxes and use them! Great show!
Thanks! Hopefully your dream comes true soon! :)
Yep got 5 grand set aside for the routed modular track set I want. Someday I will get it in place, on to 100 slot cars!
sorry courtney, i ordered mine 1st...lol
Mike , think about the pole south and north, there is a app for it...and Greg, indicates not to use 2 magnets, left and right of the track...however I have been doing this for years
What I was trying to say is to not use to smaller magnets next to each other to make a bigger one for the sensor to detect because of the shape of the field, as per slot.it's guide. I also use magnets on both sides of the slot so that it doesn't matter which side of the chassis I put the sensor on.
Excellent upgrade.
Nice upgrade....I was thinking that this could be also used for coning front tyres. For instance, screwing in moving the left side of the sanding spindle down, should give an angle to cone one front tyre so that the outer diameter is bigger than the inner. Of course this works only for wheels that can be removed from the axle.
Possibly, but the cone angle would be pretty low. I guess it doesn't need to be extreme, though.
Thanks Greg! Easy, peasy just like you said.
Thanks! So far, feedback has been positive. I like it so much better than the old method.
@@ggaub 10 times easier to adjust and precise!
Hi Greg I want to order this upgrade for my truer please 😊
You know where to find me. :) $10 shipped in the states. INTL shipping extra.
I was searching through eBay about a few days ago, and I found laser tag team op blasters that were from the concept stage and they were also unreleased versions. I even found a black version of the team ops base tagger which was also unreleased
Thanks. I've seen them as well.
Clive ( dr C) is going to send me this month, a new set to test with Oxigen cars...so lets see
Extremely helpful! Thank you.
Good boy!

Iteresting pure racing track 🤗 like a 3 lane track ,sometimes its just right to fit a certain limited space 👍...Harry
Wow! No kernel left behind!
That is so cute Greg. We had a dog that loved grilled corn also. She didn't much care for stovetop corn.
Sounds to me like Wayne has not read any DiSCA sporting regulations. Section 12, “Judicial”, clearly states the actions that will award a penalty. Drivers are also reminded during the pre-race briefing. Rookie drivers get their own briefing prior to first qualifying which places more stress on basic “safety” on the track. And yes, lane changing into another car is very much penalty worthy. Look where you’re going and don’t do it!!!
yeah, not sure why he was waffling about it.
"The Wayne Show"
LOL! Yeah, I need to step in quicker. To be fair, it's easy to kind of get lost waiting for the next sentence when he gets going. Like... the point must be right around the corner. :)
The BRMs are great cars - quite an improvement over the earlier chassis. They are releasing the #16 David Piper car soon, don't delay in getting it.
No kidding. Those Group C cars were just giant Scalextric cars.
JohnM when will you have part 3 ready for the molding process of the die cast truck? I've enjoyed this series.
John... Kit?
I agree with John Kit! Just retired and started this hobby for my grandchildren, a section for newbies would be great! Especially looking how to installing digital coder into F1 cars for Carrera Digital! Great info.
I'm glad that you enjoy the chat replay, but this was never intended to be a tutorial kind of thing. If you were to have been on the chat and asked for help with that, I would have told you that it's very challenging for any non-Carrera F1 car, and that it often requires significant modifications to the char and/or chip, even if you use a smaller third party chip. There are posts by people over the years on various slot car forums and facebook groups showing how they did it, but it basically boild down to finding empty space in the car, a chip that might fit, and doing whatever is needed to make it fit and connect it up.
Terrifying that these old can-am cars were literal go-karts with over 500 horsepower. Especially the Shadow Mk 1. I have no clue how the amount of fatalities were absolutely miniscule compared to F1.
I have the Team Gunston Ferrari 350P by Racer beautiful model! Great detail!
What number do you have, #4,#6 or #83 ?
@@johnstezelecki8157 number 6 3 hrs Cape Town winner 1968
@@johnstezelecki8157 I have number 6 1968 Cape Town 3 hour race winner such a nice car, I have 11 Racer Model slot cars they are gems
Does anyone have the history of the Hawkins-driven #83 Ferrari Can-Am?
Thunderslot will get two more liveries from the Ferrari Can Am car. I believe the #4 Gunston raced in 1968 in the Kyalami 9 hours. The drivers were John Love and Peter or Paul Hawkins. Also, in 1968, Hawkins won the Capetown race in # 6 Gunston.
A bit off topic question. I finally got a SCP 3 today :) What battery are you using in yours?
Saw your FB post, and I'll try to find it and post a link there, too, but this one looks the same as the ones I got, but in AU. www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0C7GYDM9Q
24h teams are given 16 x Slotit 1171 G25 tyres and 2 motors, either 2 x MN09ch Flat 6, OR 2 x MX16 21k short can. Once handout parts are issued they can be used however the team wishes. Only one pair of tyres can be taken from race control at a time. Slipstream using only two sets during the race is definitely unusual but may have been possible due to the lower downforce on LMP2 cars, the closed side of the motor can must face the track, or a higher ride height due to lower offset, bigger wheels, etc. Sports Carazing were changing tyres after approx six hours, although we did use five sets just as a safety measure to secure our third place in LMP1 toward the end of the race.
thanks for the exact remarks..correct
How do I download this app
The app I use, TrackPower, is no longer available. It doesn't have any kind of track that wasn't around 10 years ago. Your best bet on Windows these days is found at uracerweb.org
Sad that its 3,6cm to high for my Printer
Yeah, and now he has an even bigger one that I can't even fit on my XL. LOL!
tony, the king of unpacking!!
Great to see Bernard on there, provided a fascinating conversation!
welcome in the digital Oxigen world...Greg....its a lot of work to organise a race....but after a while you well get there
Not really much different than running SSD with these guys. The printed cars were probably not the best choice for a variety of reasons, but the biggest issue was trying to learn PC Lap Counter in less than a day. ;-)
The new Australian distribution of MR Slotcars at 24:00 will be good news for slot racers in Australia and good for MR Slotcar too. An example was when NSR changed to Leeman distribution the sales of NSR went up by around s factor of three. It could be worth SlotIt and Thunderslot looking into that change further.
Nice
It turns out that a post-chat inspection of my iMac computer set-up revealed that one of the Yamaha speakers I use for external monitors on the system had fallen onto its side and was aimed directly at the microphone port on the iMac (lower rear center) so that when I spoke, a feedback loop was set up and the Auto Level Control on the mic would drop the level down to about half gain. I'd go into System Settings and mysteriously, the Input gain settings had been dropped and had to be adjusted again. Trying again to address the chat group, the bug loop would repeat itself and I and everyone else would become more and more frustrated. I apologize to Greg and all the WWSCC Group for the giant waste of time and attention. I will endeavor to persevere and do better next time I may have some meagre stuff about toy cars to share.
LOL! It's all good, John. Shit happens, and this is a perfect example of it. I'm just glad you figured it out, so hopefully you'll be loud and clear from now on. :)
Thanks so much for the video. Could you tell me the process if I want to use the SCP3 with my ARC PRO base while in analog mode with analog cars? Thank you.
The same as you do with the original ARC controllers. Flip the switch on the side of the ARC Pro, and drive.
I use an old cassette-tape "atache-case" (1/32)
"play slot cars"?
Yep. It's a game of skill, after all. :)
Nice track
Any technical specs on this track that you can share? E.g footprint ? And who built it ?
one of our club members built it. I think it's 6x16'. Three lane, copper tape.
the magnets will just be pulling them selves towards each other ,there's no reason why the car should move forwards .
Go Rocko go!
Hello i just got the challnger car but a problem it didnt come with the trackside control will ot still work as like computer or not??
That's too bad. As far as I know, the only way to send the commands to learn the track and to race is via that tower. It sends infrared signals like a TV remote. The car is pretty much useless without the tower. :(
@@ggaub oh ok but can I still race with my own controller if not do you know where I can get a tower or does it have to be brand new car and tower to work??
what a great track
It is, yeah. Hedecided to soften that turn before the donut, but I'm sure that will be an improvement.
Adorable!!! So much fun!!

HELPFUL! Thank you very much😉
it's about quality, going into depth about a new livery or whatever comes onto the market. They don't offer either of these. It is nonsense that there is no money to be made in slot cars...I have proven the opposite. However, on CZcams... with an average age group of 65 years... you won't make it with that alone. In addition, America is a nice market, but the rest is Europe. Videos about what's coming onto the market are a dime a dozen...a bit of unboxing If you look at Jim Rose's videos... those are added values.
Yeah, I'll take a video from Jim any day over "news" videos in general.
Courtney: gasmonkey srt used the rt4 extensively over the past 3 years even in gt cars. The gas monkey 'vette was like this. Jeremy: the definition of "cheatin" is easy. It's outside the letter of the rules and having your car opened and everyone seeing what you've done would be embarrassing. The main problem with "rules" is having the time to scrutineer and enforce. No way to enforce a system based on the "spirit" of the rules. Float. I'm a believer in "everything looser than everything else". Having to car enter the corner in several distinct parts lowers the load on the guide. Think "train bogie" However, doing that and keeping all of the components upright would be a challenge for the front end. Alan.
