A cool thing reading lyrics like Pete Townsends along with other artists as a song writer myself sometimes I get the idea of making my lyrics either personal or abstract And some of these artists give me the impression you can say things that make clear sense and some of it you have to guess perhaps what they’re trying to say… 😅 As a result it’s made my lyrics kinda the same way My friend advised to spoon feed your lyrics being that you’re not a John Lennon Dylan blah,blah,blah which was great advice and helped me tremendously However I do compromise at times but with the mix of baby food and grown up it and seeing these and other types of lyrics has made a great blend for me… They make it seem/look easy You read this and may think “Well it’s not really that difficult or clever” lol 😂 I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m not gonna get it all… But.. I’m a lot better than before 😊….
