How to calculate Tithi duration for each day and start and end time of tithi, cause tithi hours are not equal for all days as per lunar calendar, changes between 19 hours to 27 hours.

is there two tithi in one day?
Tithi at the time of sunrise is considered for the whole day. There may be case where another tithi starts during the day. Still the Tithi at the sunrise is recognized for that day. In another case, next tithi my start and end before next sunrise. It is called tithi lop and we skip that tithi in recognition. In conclusion, only one tithi is considered for a given day.

7:00 does it work same for choosing tithi for business? for example if I want to start business venture on panchami tithi (because its poorna tithi thats good for profit) and panchami tithi was at the moment of sunrise in my location then I should count whole day as panchami even if lets say at 10:00 in the morning shashti starts?
If Panchami tithi is at the local sunrise, it is recognized for the whole day. Let us consider few cases. If Shashthi starts at 10 am and continues next day beyond the sunrise, Shashthi is recognized for the next day. If Shashthi starts at 10 am and ends before next day sunrise, it is called as Tithi Lop. There will not be Shashthi on the calendar and the next day is recognized as Saptami. If Shashthi starts late on the day like 9 pm and continues for two consecutive days to end beyond sunrise on 2nd next day, two days will be recognized as Shashthi. It is called Tithi Vruddhi.
