I think the lyrics in "Compass" is referring to the singer not finding a place they belong or can call home, and over the years of feeling lost, he meets someone, and he found his home with her, until she passes and he feels lost once more. and having to wander for the rest of his life since he lost his home once again.

She’s such an earnest performer, unlike so many others. I watched some of hers and Dua Lipa’s sets in Glastonbury. Aurora’s performance is pure raw energy while Dua Lipa looks like she’s performing in a strip club.

So finally she did a rave song, awesome😍 AURORA stated: “Our souls are starving because AI is taking over; art is being replaced by computers.” AURORA said she was inspired by Germany’s EDM scene to create this song. In the 90s, Berlin was known for its underground rave culture. AURORA also stated: “I’m a very big fan of The Prodigy and Underworld and Chemical Brothers. I think that kind of music is very cool.” The song addresses the disconnection modern life imposes on humans. The techno inspiration in the song contrasts with its theme. While rave music is typically associated with sweaty, closed and overcrowded places, the song is about a person starving for connection.
