I saw quite a few FACES gigs starting at Mayfair 1971 where I slipped in round the back (too young) that was a Fantastic night too, revolving stage .(Led Zep played their 1st ever gig there 1969 )Long gone Mayfair sadly .Then City Hall 72, ,Locarno 73 ,N/cle Odeon Dec 73 and Dec 74 (2 nights ) then they broke up and Rod solo, saw his 1st 4 nights at City Hall Dec 76 , with his new band and every Toon show since bar 3 weeks ago ,Aslo saw the reunion at Hurtwood Park sept 2015 for a cancer charity show with Ronnie Wood , Kenney Jones and Rod only 3 left of the original Faces sadly Ronnie Lane and Ian Mclagen passed on .Saw Mac at the Cluny in N/cle few yrs ago on his own with small backing band just 100 or so there ... memories!!

Saw Him at Brighton /Sussex Cricket ground 3 nights later than Toon .Slick show these days saw him sing this Dec 1972 City Hall N/cle with Faces brilliant night then literally brought the house down then again Locarno Sunderland April 73 one of Ronnie Lane's last gigs another brilliant night .They were still playing small ballrooms even then whilst playing Madison Sq Gdns N York same era ! Has to be a Faces reunion before they all leave the room for good? only 2 sets of Fingers to one throat better than nothing?
