Wow there's a lot to digest here. Have you noticed any patterns regarding checkpoints that aren't the start line? The possibility I wanted to raise is that another player at a different standing might trigger it on non lap 1 scenarios Second item I remember seeing is White land 1 sometimes has four golden bumpers lap 4 and people have footage of it, what is the explanation for that?

I remember golden bumpers appear in final tracks in laps 2 3 and 4. Are they been changed in the latest update? Is that the reason I see no gold stalling from lap 2?

I really like the part in the video where the Golden Bumper comes down from the sky.

Sorry for the noisy mini-maps 🙇🏻‍♂️. I originally used png maps of all courses with Skyways on them, but those caused trouble during the rendering process, even when changing formats to jpeg, both supported by the video editing software. On the other hand it helps to see the green dot passing through Checkpoint lines, but the visual noise can be distracting

Played in a conservative way, no dodges nor dancing sessions came into play. Single Targeting allowed me to hide from attacks for more than 3 minutes, which made obtaining max Speed before the crucial double digit Rounds a breeze. My personal opinion: It trivializes the game and makes it way easier. What you gain from playing anything but Single Targeting simply doesn't compare to what the blue state offers. As long as you play it safe, your chances of surviving for a long time without making too many Speed Level sacrifices receive an exponential increase. I felt that the game didn't reward players enough for attempting highly risky playstyles. Surviving is all that matters. And Single Targeting does grant the highest chance for downtime with just you, the ghosts and Haunting Jammers on the board. Higher damage output can't make up for the benefit Single Targeting holds

The crash out at the end, Just changes the whole context of the video for me. It was a game changer. Re contextualized all of the daring, risky, dare I say, needlessly-dangerous, stunt you performed. went from a 'hey look at this risky plays video', to, 'here we see the most common cause of death for a talented F-zero pilot... ego. How it forms, grows, and causes us to miss the signs that we are taking it way to far.' Like an old retired pilot reliving the death of a friend and rival, in order to teach the young'uns the most dangerous thing in the F-zero league. So yeah ending it on a kind of melancholic crash out really sold the whole thing for me. Excellent video.
