I want to install subway station-type tiles on my front porch. It does get rained on sometimes. What should I use as a substrate before I put the tiles down and then grout? Do I need to put on any type of a sealer?

Had friends come over and show me how “easy it is.” Watched this video and about ten other videos. I’ve been working on trying to install the same plank for two days; no joke, as it won’t snap into place….Word to the wise; just because your friends can do it, don’t think u can. We are brainwashed to think “anyone can do it.” When u hit a wall like me, and u keep pushing, the plank’s edges will crack or break if u hit it too hard. U have to be cautious and careful with the angle. BE REAL WITH WHO U ARE AND QUIT WHILE UR AHEAD. If ur someone that doesn’t own a tool belt, don’t take this on, it’s not as easy they claim it to be…this video is great, but only for people who “got it.” I don’t “got it.” I’m going to take my planks, cover my entire lawn with every plank, fill my sprinkler system with gasoline, turn the sprinkler’s on and light a match.

I've always wanted to have a pet spider, if I ever find a spider, I'm keeping it, now I've done found a really good one that's a combination of a scorpion and a spider, that's the spider I'm gonna try and hunt down.

How tall did you make the base for the shower? Also is there a video of you installing the shower pan? Also can you tap into a 3/4” line instead of a main sewer line?

How did you fix the posts on top of the decking? Simple screw into deck or did you need to reinforce the joists underneath the decking and fix longer screws? Or are the posts into the ground?

If the tube is old enough to get a crack in it, replace the whole tube. Every time I’ve done it this way, I’m back fixing the next place in the tube that cracks. Not worth doing more damage to your floor or someone else’s.
