Don’t be a guinea pig. Don’t get this nonsense! radiofrequency ablation (RFA) can potentially cause nerve damage. There is a small chance that the procedure may damage surrounding nerves and blood vessels, leading to symptoms like pain, tingling, numbness, or hyperesthesia.
@the lowa clinic...dr plz go to good dentist & treat your teeth first...kind advice to u...& Your words were soothing to hear about sciatica
I had this procedure done just yesterday at the V A hospital in Dallas Texas and they didn’t ask any of those questions to determine what nerve they were next to 😮😮😮
So something the average Joe would take many months to get done, but the elite even get VIP passes to hospitals. You say they are busy. What about the people who work two full-time jobs to make ends meet. How much time do you think they have to get to the hospital? The big difference is the elites still get paid when they go to the hospital. Someone working two hourly jobs does not. So not only are you making it so the elites can get it done in one day, but since it is technically possible to get it done in one day, you are making hourly workers miss multiple days of work to get all of these tests done over the timespan of months. If someone works two full-time jobs, I'm sure one missed workday is terrible enough.
This is fake, totaly useless!! This is pseudo-medicine and very expensive. If you suffer lower back pain or ciatica I strongly recommed you to see a real doctor specialized in orthopedic and spine surgery
I understood 4% of the words that he said
Brittany is a great listener and not a prescription pusher. She has literally saved my life before!
Zero pain, the alcohol rub is warm, quite nice actually haha after that the anaesthetic is fine, barely noticed it. During the procedure I have zero pain but did have strange sensations some of which went through to my back and belly. During the procedure I chatted to the surgeon and the nurse about chillies and our local chillies festival, all done in 35 mins 😃 Zero swelling, zero pain ✂️
Why would anyone do this?
@@EM0RYTATEllllsimple, we don’t want any more kids, and I don’t want my Mrs to have to ingest medication for years to come
@@EM0RYTATEllll Why not? We do not want any more children and I don't want my Mrs ingesting needless medication when this is available
@@EM0RYTATEllll I see youve asked this question under multiple comments so I can tell you why I did, wife wont have to buy birth control anymore. if we decide to have kids in the future we will adopt as there are a lot of kids that need parents.

Fantastic explanation-thank you !
This one of the best and informative breakdowns I've found. Thank!
I had the lower left side done in November 2023 and the lower right side done in March 2024, with great results. I hope, my middle back and my neck are next. I was sent for physical therapy, for them, first. It strengthens the muscles, but does nothing for disc pain.
Is this considered a cosmetic procedure and will ins. Cover this.
How do you know if you arent allergic to the steroid
How long after can u shower
How long does the ablation last? And if the ablation doesn’t last are you allowed to have it repeated

Got mine done today via Keyhole no scalpel procedure. Just felt two pinches from the local anaesthesia. Nothing after that. Currently lying at home. Still no pain, just discomfort. Taking some Ibuprofen for just in case. Peeing is absolutely normal. Great experience. Can’t wait for the cream pies. God bless!
Glad to read this. Getting this tomorrow morning!
Still good?
@@jamesgordon7641 Yup it was way less painful than I thought! Important to take it easy for a week after, wear tighty-whities, and just be gentle with your package.
I have exactly the same, keyhole. I was starting to think I’m a freak, no swelling, no pain like nothing has happened 😂 I believe it’s down to the skill of the surgeon, like having a blood test sometimes you get bruising sometimes your don’t.
@@Myhobbies85 Same. keyhole and I thought I was weird as I have had 0 swelling but I did have pain like a dull pain, currently day 2 and if i lay or sit still I feel nothing, only when I walk or move do I feel pain.
Are the injections painful during the procedure? Also how risky is the procedure, i.e. what could go wrong and how often do those anomalies occur?
I never had one but have 4 bad discs and rather take pain meds but I cannot find a doctor anymore to prescribe them. I can tell you that my wife at the time my daughter was born had an epidural and they punctured the thecal sac and that leads to spinal fluid leaking out into you body and then your brain drops down on your brain stem because the spinal fluid basically keeps you brain floating. she got a massive terrible headache that no pain meds can help. They took her back to try to do a spinal "patch" which is to take your own blood from your leg and then insert it with another needle into the spine near the first failed epidural. The theory is that your own blood will coagulate and "patch" the leak in your thecal sac. But they had to do it 2 times with my wife and it took all darn day. That is another reason for me not to get one. The other reason in my case is that I still have to work as mechanic and sit, bend, twist etc and if the steroid epidural numbs the pain really good, then I have no idea if I am re injuring my back while the steroid is still in there, which it can be for a few weeks. The doctors don't tell you this and they all just want to give you a shot because of the "Trend Medicine" where they don;t want to do the LEAST invasive thing and give you pain meds. At 64, I injured my back in 2008, 2022 and April 2024. The first time it took over 9 months for my back pain to lessen were I was able to back way off my pain meds. Same in 2022. i'm still healing and looking for pain meds, not an injection. My 30 year doctor passed in 2021 and now cannot find doctor to give me pain meds. I was never addicted, never abused them and got off them no problem when they ran out. I also never had to INCREASE the dose as many say is the issue that ALL people will build up tolerance to pain meds, everyone is different. Good luck. BTW, not to scare you by you can die from this procedure, make sure they tell you all the possible side effects.
This is one of the more comprehensive videos on this topic. I understood what to expect with my pending ablation and thank you for your knowledge and expertise.
I agree!

What type of procedure is recommended if the patient has a varicocele? Office or operating room?
For men who have scrotal varicoceles requiring treatment with microscopic varicocelectomy and who wish to have a no-scalpel vasectomy, both procedures can be performed simultaneously in one sitting. Microscopic varicocelectomy: With this technique, the surgeon makes a 1 cm cut above the scrotum. Using the microscope, the surgeon ties off all small veins, but avoids the vas deferens, testicular artery and lymphatic drainage. The procedure takes 2 to 3 hours, and the patient goes home on the same day. Reading about it I believe they are talking OR and not a general clinic (office).
I demanded to be put to sleep as mine was in my cervical spine on multiple levels with a max of only 3 he was allowed to do. Great pain relief but doesn’t last. I had it done several times and still had to take pain meds and have trigger point steriod injections in my traps because of spasms that would still occur at times which caused occipital neuralgia headaches which are the worst headaches ever. Like a nail being driven in your eye socket and more. I don’t wish this health condition on anyone. I’m only 46 and have had it since around 9 years
i want to do surgery in india is it possible
I have seen almost all the videos of your channel Your videos are good and everything is fine But the views of your video are not getting, your subscribed is relatively less This is because your videos are not SEO and your CZcams channel is not optimized Your channel & video have no rank tags and your title has problem and there are some other problems. I have presented your channel issues with a screenshot so that you can easily understand
I had this done and its really painful. I didnt use any sedation or oral medication only numbing medicine was in jected.
well done video, clear and precise,
Great explanation
Just got mine done yesterday. Painful but doable. Nothing to be too worried about
Why does anyone do this?
@@EM0RYTATEllllbirth control. The pill has a good amount of side affects, pulling out is hit or miss and less pleasurable and permanent tubes tying for women is a much more invasive procedure.
I had this procedure done yesterday it’s about the same pain as having a Facet Blocker my doctor only did the right side I’ll go back next week to have the left side done the most advise I can give is to not think about any pain but to think positive thoughts and that you’ll having this done to relieve yourself of your current condition.
Oh lier
That was awesome and very understandable. I have had 2 epidural injections. My Dr told me that the one that I had today will give him the info that he needs to determine whether an RFA procedure would be recommended. Your explanation was very helpful to me and made me feel a lot more comfortable about it. Will know in about 2-3 weeks if I will need the procedure. Thanks again. Don H Ocala Florida.
Had this RFA intervention on my law back spine yesterday, i thank you so much for posting this on the channel for simple and clear explanation, especially difference between sensor and motor nerves branches. You also confirm all the suggestion for the different alternatives treatment i received 1 steroid injections, 2 Rfa ablation to avoid any soon surgery, especially pain is in my low back and not much on the legs,,,, I will see in couplkes of weeks how it goes.
GO TO HE'LL CREATURE !
Why did mine only last 3 months this time. I always got a year or more without pain
Not helpful at all.
She's the best!
Life is broken up into stages; crossing from one stage to another haphazardly invites great risks and is generally a selfish act. "Gee, I am 59 and got married for the first time to a 37 year old and we want to be parents. I'll only be around 80 by the time the child graduates high school."
It's also a careless act.
Omg iam 39 years old and i have vercoise viens and spider veins i would like this treatment does this hurt or not
I had six months pain after this procedure, my penis, my testikels and my libido are half what they used to be. It is a horroble thing to do to a man.
Why did you even do it? I’m genuinely confused why anyone would.
@@EM0RYTATEllllMy wife has had breast cancer, and therefore she can no longer use hormonal contraception. We found vasectomy at the time, to be the best option to return to our normal relationship.
But looking back now, using condoms is silly, but I would gladly take it now.
@@30morph take the condoms or the surgery?
Condoms!!@@EM0RYTATEllll
When you have this done where do they put the grounding pad ?
I just add this procedure done a couple days ago and I was sedated and I didn't do any thing where I said yes I feel something here or there I was out. It's been 2 days and I still have pain in the hip area on both sides but it takes about 3 weeks for those nerves to extinguish
Thanks for all the information. I'm having facet joint RFA next week. Everything else has been tried and I'm told I am not a candidate for surgery so I sure hope I can get some long-lasting relief!
I was told that at last up to a year and then you can get it again it wasn't painful I had mine two days ago and I still have a little bit of pain along my pelvic upper bones where the arthritis is but it takes about 3 weeks for those nerves to die
Don't get a vasectomy, they don't work ! All it did for me was change the skin color of the child
😂😂😂😂
