I've enjoyed it so far. It's quick and dirty, not a whole lot of setup. Just up my alley!

They're pretty fun to paint. Easy to, plus they're small so it's a fairly quick process.

Yeah, not a big fan of resin but they're only now putting out sprues for us. I have some stuff pre-ordered so here's hoping for the best! :)

@@theInsaneCashew 5mm x 2mm, 6mm x 1.5mm, 3mm x 2mm, and 8mm x 2mm. Honestly I don't remember which went where but those are the sizes I ordered from JC Magnetics. I used those to do my Wardogs and the big guy.

It's not going to stop my hobby time, but I feel as if GW could have handled it better. I'm not against female custodes but what I am against is the way they treat their customers and the way they decided to make the change. I also feel like a lot of the people that are the loudest are just tourists that aren't actually going to buy the models or play the game. GW attempted female space marines before and they flopped because no one wanted them. I don't know, we'll see how this plays out. I am not against someone coming into the hobby, I want new blood in the hobby. I am against people stomping in and saying everything is 'problematic' and all that then making a stink about changes. Those are the people that don't respect the hobby.

I have a sickness about that, I can't play unpainted unless it's a board game. But of course that's not for everyone and I acknowledge that!

It's leadbelcher actually. But for super brights I use Vallejo metal colors. My favorite is aluminium. That's the one I used for my candy schemed Blood Angels!

@@normalguygames i have one of those Vallejo Metal Colors, the duraluminium, or something like that, but I NEVER got it to work, i don't know if mine defected or not, but it's SUPER runny, it feels very very diluted, it doesn't stop anywhere, it doesn't adhere, it falls down, the first coat is terrible, and o matter how much I shale the bottle until my arms falls off, it keeps being super terrible. At least using a brish, which I hear works very well from various videos, but my bottle seems totally fuc**ed up :/

Okay so with those paints you have to shake the crap out of them and they work better out of the airbrush. If they're too thin you can add some medium to them and try that.

@@normalguygames i don't have an airbrush, but I will definately try again shaking it even more like there is no tomorrow, and adding different mediums! Thank you! They behave VERY different from what I see om videos though, all the videos using the brush as well, not am air rush, mine behaves much more diluted and weak, but I'll try again :)

@@kraziel Also working with a thinner paint is a lot different. It may need an extra coat depending. But it saves you from having to do two thin coats. lol

Honestly where terrain is concerned everything is 40k for me, kind of like Necromunda. I will say that it isn't enough for Kill Team, you'd need to supplement with more terrain from one of the other boxes. I don't feel like there is enough medium cover.

@@normalguygames Agreed. Lots of light cover, not much heavy.

@@ianbabcock6802 Exactly. You get a bunch of little guys and some really, really big stuff but not enough mid-ranged cover to put on an entire board.

In my musings and internet travels I've seen way more people tout 3rd edition as the best. A lot of people didn't like the change to the core dice rolls and target numbers and a lot of people felt like it made the system a lot less versatile. However, that being said it was balanced better in my opinion. 4th becomes problematic the more powerful the characters get though, which makes the game kind of putter out the longer you play. The Matrix got changed as well, I don't remember a lot about it but I know it went to an augmented VR kind of deal and the time dilation no longer exists, it works on the same time frame as real time. That's honestly all I can remember off hand.

No, no talk of 7th edition yet. However, I don't see why they wouldn't at some point soon. 6th was not received well by the old hats, we'll see down the line.

@@nathanielg46th is a good starting point since it's a bit more refined. A lot of people consider 3rd edition to be the peak.

I'm not saying it's perfect. The book is laid out poorly there are many rules that could use a tweak or two but if you look at the sheer bloat of 5th vs 6th on size alone there's a difference. I had an easier time with 6th than 5th but that won't be everyone's case. It's a person-by-person basis really.

You could give Savage Worlds a try then. You can do Cyberpunk in Savage Worlds too.

Actually, yes. They would be perfect for The Walking Dead. As a matter of fact I preordered the new edition so look forward to some comparisons or even a battle report. :)

Fair points all but yes I was going over some of the things that might draw people in, not necessarily all new stuff. It's been a long while since I've played/read. I'm running a 6e now but the organization of the book makes it prohibitive to read. lol

I will grab a pot of that yellow and bathasar gold but don't bother with the army painter metals. They're sub-par compared to most everything else.

Actually, no it can't. Not if you affix everything. If you were to use magnets on the larger pieces you MIGHT be able to get it back in.

Yeah most likely some sort of packing issue. I've had a few people around me say the same thing when they got theirs.

Thank you so much! I love the models and I am quite fond of ink-tinted metals. For my Deathrattle Skellies I ended up priming them black, zenethal white then I took a red spray can and I hit them with a red tint from the back to give them that cursed city feel to them. They turned out pretty good. Don't let anything stop you! Practice makes perfect and you won't know how good something looks until you try!
