A Saturn Vue with a VTEC Problem
You might not have known that there were Saturns with VTEC. They just didn't call it VTEC. This is a 2006 Saturn Vue with a code P2647 causing the check engine light to illuminate.

Chassis Noise Diagnosis with Chassis Ear

Hyundai Timing Chain Tensioner Problem

Hyundai 3.3 V6 engines have a problem with timing chain tensioners that loose the ability to hold pressure at rest. This causes a noise at start up. This shows the bad tensioner and exactly what it is doing.

Ford Expedition P0231 and Stalling Diagnosis
zhlédnutí 121KPřed 9 lety
This 2003 Ford Expedition with a 5.4 V8 stalls about every 5 to 10 minutes, and has a check engine light with the code P0231, fuel pump secondary circuit low. This is a common problem and this demonstration will show you how to diagnose the failure.
6.7 Powerstroke Low Fuel Pressure Problem
zhlédnutí 408KPřed 9 lety
After replacing the fuel filter the check engine light would illuminate and a message of "low fuel pressure" would show on the driver information display. Code P008A, "Low Pressure Fuel System Pressure Too Low" would show up on the scan tool. The fuel filter housing was not installed properly so it wouldn't bleed the air.
6.7 Powerstroke Broken Fuel Filter Housing
zhlédnutí 38KPřed 9 lety
Very common to brake the fuel filter housing on a 6.7 Powerstroke. This one might have been cross-threaded because it was leaking air into the low pressure fuel system before we tried to tighten it. The fuel filter was just replaced before it started having problems.

Retired Ambulance, 7.3 Powerstroke Quarter Mile, Lights On
zhlédnutí 11KPřed 9 lety
Because everyone wants to know how fast a tired ambulance with a diesel can run the quarter. This thing is slow but it's got low compression on all cylinders, a possible bad injector, and our dyno is at 6500 ft. above sea level (this is Wyoming after all) where you have to be really fast in order to be fast.
Looking at Diesel Exhaust Opacity

Clean diesel technology is very clean. Even slightly older diesel technology is not that bad, but it is nothing compared to the newest engines. Check out the results comparing a 7.3 Powerstroke to a 6.7 Powerstroke.

So what I'm really hearing amongst the collective so far is that it likely wouldn't be a one time it's done fix but that likely a periodic repeat might prove more effective... The real question perhaps being how many times would it take, just as was the pun on the getting to the center of the "Tootsie Pop" of yesterday? Still the result that most stands out to me as it being a good process (albeit one perhaps more for the private owner like myself who simply doesn't care how long it takes nor how many times) is the reading that showed improved outflow to inflow... So if you got the money and just need the real fix quick make that play but otherwise turn on your best romance music and give that car the time and focused attention it deserves and who knows the car might not run but the women might flock to you and surely one of them will have a car while you busy fine tuning yours...😂🤷‍♂️😎😉

Changed the damn bearing, noise is still there the exact same. My press bolt broke when trying to take the bearing out so i had to resort to using a hammer although i didnt directly hit on the bearing and also placed it on an even metal plate to avoid damage. Could i have damaged it possibly ? Mine was also on the left side And also to my suprise the bearing i ordered was supposed to be made in germany but i noticed it said china on it when i wanted to put it in. Could be a fake ? Brand was FAG btw

Same issue here today, 2013 6.7 I changed both fuel filters and truck run ok but Humming noice was there didn’t pay much attention cause was running ok. After driving 180 miles I got engine light, reduced engine power and low fuel pressure message. Watched some videos and pulled the left connector on the top fuel filter. Drain some fuel/air in to a plastic bottle and run ok for a few miles then I’ll do it again but problem won’t go away. I’m ready to retighten the bottom filter. Thanks for this video.
