This kayak is not too bad for the price. I couldn't find any other inflatable kayaks in that price range that had good quality like this one. The only one I found is just this Intex Excursion Inflatable kayak with better material. So, that's why I bought them. Most of the good inflatable kayaks cost around $800 to $1500. I didn't want to spend that much money for a inflatable kayak.

I'm using hooks #4 and #5. For the power bait, I usually roll the dough into a little ball and make sure it overs the hook. A 3/4 oz. weight is what I use most of the time. Hopefully this helps.

@@edkonvang you're welcome my setup will be inspired of yours for sure I just got the same boat but 1 place. Doesn't seem to have the rod holster issue tho ! So I will modify the front paddle holster only and make a custom rack for tackle box and tools behind me. Thanks again and I wish you a lot of big fish

It's a great inflatable kayak for that price. The one in this video it was an older kayak. Now, they have a new version with gopro mount in the front and also they changed the rod holders in the back little bit diffrently but everything else still look pretty much the same.

You have more chance to catch them on a kayak cause you cover more areas plus you can cast your bait right on the bushes/structures. Wax worms and red worms usually work wells for me for catching bluegills. I don't know what cause of death in that lake, but one time I almost drown there cause the plants caught my foot.

Yes there’s been incident in the past of people drowning in the avocado lake for that same reason.

@@edkonvang Its mostly due to drinking too much alcohol. They panic when they cant make it across and the hydrilla gets them caught up .For many years there was a sign posted on the lake and that sign had the death toll from drowning .The last time i saw it was at 33 like 5 years ago .But some years ago they took down that sign .Why? Because people didn't like the reality that that many have died there and it brings in money at the gate .The lake is more known to drink beer and smoke weed and party with a barbeque .

Carp yes, catfish I'm not sure cause I never try it. I always fish for trout, bluegills and bass only.

Tell me about it. I saw few videos on youtube they were catching some nice crappies. That's the reason I wanted to go try out to see how it is....I don't know what I did wrong or the crappies just not out there that day but after all I can't complainted. I did catched it a different type of fish that day. No skunk...Lol
