I am assuming that after you filled the cartridge with the gel, you removed the plastic wrap before reinserting? This may seem like a dumb question but I've seen where people put foil inside the cartridge around the blue stick and leave it in to slow down the water flow and stick usage.

24 years. Still miss my Mom. The pain never stops.

For me I play this song every time I wake up. I got insecuritys I'm trying to work though. When I can be the man I want to be well I guess only God can say, but I know I'm gonna get there some day.

I go to the dollar store and get the dollar blue hanger toilet mint and use a 3/4 deep well hole saw and make replacement cartridges for my vortex max. They last 6 weeks. Not bad for a dollar and some time.

Without talking on the phone or texting, communication is difficult. I have tried several times to call you. I am not on Facebook for good reason. Same with Messenger. I am currently at my retreat, which my sis can tell you about. Shitty phone service. Usually goes to my VM. But that is literal map. Metaphorically, if you feel the true love, then you are on the right path. No map needed. Would like to be with you sometime soon. Let us start as friends. This long distance thing is too damn hard, yes?

I have the same type of toilet but when we replace the cleaning tube I can NEVER get it to screw in right and it constantly leaks. I love the toilet but may have to buy a new toilet. Any advice?

Why are people over-engineering toilets, for Pete's sake? They are making problems with something that was never a problem. Nobody needs a FreshInfuser. Just use Lysol or Febreeze or Poopourri.

My mom passed away 2 weeks before my 20th birthday, New year's, 10 years ago now. She never got the chance to live a healthy adult life after she left our family when I was 12. She died a homeless alcoholic in a dive motel downtown. I did the best I could to help her, even tho I was full of anger towards her as a teen. I'm glad I can remember the last time I saw her. I gave her a hug and said "I love you momom"...I can still hear her in my head saying "I love you my little chunkers" It's true I still think about her everyday, mostly first thing when I wake up, before my eyes open. My deepest regret is she never even got to meet her 1 and only grandchild who is 2 now. I'm a mom of 3 little kids, with no mom of my own, and I selfishly resent her for not being here to help me. Great idea. I have the same type of toilet (and am considering buying another one for another bathroom) I never considered what would happen if/when American Standard stops making those cartridges

Good idea. I too am worried about it not being made in a few years given it is only for this toilet. In all my other toilets I use Fluidmaster "Flush n Sparkle" bleach cartridge which is the nearly the exact same idea as this but it works with any standard toilet. Unfortunately the cartridges aren't exactly the same, the top is the same size but the body of the FreshInfuser is much narrower so you can't transfer the insides. May be able to find other bleach sticks or tablets that would fit if needed. Worst case and they stop making it and you lose your blanks, you can just use the Fluidmaster product as designed.
