Concord is like mini Oakland
I Been in concord for the last 14 years and what ever you do DO NOT GO TO BART because you are gonna see stuff you don’t wanna and whatever you do DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS ON THERE!!!!! Stay safe yall!❤
Homelessness. Downtown. It’s getting absolutely disgusting.
Concord Ca is turning ghetto
Traffic on Clayton and Treat, and Treat all the way to the freeway is back-to-back starting at about 7:30 am to about 10:30, then again around 4 pm to 7 pm. It takes almost an hour from our home to the freeway.
Great video 👍
Walnut Creek CA. is a systemically racist city. From the lying racist Contra Costa County fire department who will frame innocent law abiding minorities by starting small fires “investigating” them then determining the “suspect” is an innocent law abiding minority then team with the lying racist Walnut Creek police department to harass and surveil the same innocent law abiding minority to the fullest extent of the “law”. These are proud criminals. Jesus Christ is the answer.
Leave for work at 7, get there on time. Leave at 7:10, you're and hour late.
Sometimes I miss my hometown so much. It was a great place to grow up in the 70's and 80's. Concord always excelled in neighborhood planning. Schools and comunity pools, parks. Each neighborhood had its own small town feel. I graduated high school with many of the same kids I went to kindergarten with. I know it's probably not exactly the same. We had our "bad" areas even then and there is roughly 35-45 thousand more residents now so I'm sure the dynamics have changed. I cant imagine what developing the base will do to Port Chicago Hwy traffic or Willow Pass/Salvia but, progress I guess. As long as Concord continues to try and hold onto and encourage that small town/community vibe, it'll still be a great place to live and raise your family.
Born in sac. Lived in Concord, Ca. Most of my life. Now in Missouri!
Love this! I grew up here and have the best memories, Martinez is a special little town.

Is Concord difficult takes long to drive to Stanford University?
Stanford is about an hour and a half away with traffic
In a 3:17 long video, content didn't start until 1:10.
If you dont like living in a city with little crime than Walnut Creek isn't your town. Maybe Oakland is the better option.
I like walnut creek.nice little ciry💕
Concord is great! Should have done your research
You missed the whole point of this video 😂 I love Concord
Been looking around Walnut Creek for a while but can't find anything close enough to Bart that would really work. I love the area much more then SF and much more reasonably priced.
@scotttild Hey Scott, If you need some guidance I'd be happy to help. There are a lot of ways we help our buyers get into homes that are off market. All o fmy contact info is i the description if you'd like to hop on a call any time
You forgot to mention (which is critical). Is MOST people who live in WC that commute not only do they have to take Bart or drive, they have the long passage of city driving to do just to get to their community (ygnacio valley rd, etc). Where’s people in orinda and Lafayette don’t have that (extra) drive time
I lived in Walnut Creek in the 70’s and you need a car
BART has gotten more dangerous, especially after they expanded from North Concord to Antioch and Pittsburg
Sorry but this isn't true. Bart got a lot of funding recently and upped their police force tremendously. Most regular bart users would agree.
@@Eastbayexclusive Everyone has an agenda
Anyone who disagrees is a fool.
Transportation: County connection is better than tri delta .. bart isn't the only way
I was born and raised in Concord, on Monument Blvd. I moved states as a teen, but I've been wanting to come back and check it out. From Google Maps, everything looks just about the same as it did when I lived there 20 years ago.
Yeah some new developments and "attractions"but not much other than that!
The most materialistic city in the bay area
And safe hardly any crime. Huh wonder why ?
@@THECHIEF-1981you crazy if you think there is no crime there is plenty you just don’t hear about it
Parking is really not bad - especially compared to San Francisco. Go for it if you want to move to WC and commute to SF, but personally I don't think it's worth it unless you go in less than once a week.
I think one day a week is a luxury when it comes to the Bay Area. I don't think 3 days a week is that bad but to each their own
Thanks for mentioning the Lesher Center for the Arts! We're proud to have this regional asset here in our downtown. Our department also oversees countless additional Arts + Recreation programs and activities. Walnut Creek is the place to be!
❤️
As a local, Walnut Creek manages to be awful in terms of public transit, walking, biking, AND driving. nobody wins. That being said they've got good TOD at bart and some good streets by the theater
All valid points
Racism and hate cannot be tolerated. Walnut Creek CA. is a systemically racist city. From the lying racist Contra Costa County fire department to the lying racist Walnut Creek police department these are two aggressive taxpayer funded commissioners approved city leaders sanctioned hate groups. What do you call a racist in a badge and a gun? A racist. What do you call a racist riding around in a red firefighter truck? A racist. What do you call a racist standing in front of a classroom of schoolchildren? A racist. John 8:44 - You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
What do you think about the commute from Walnut Creek to San Francisco in a vehicle if the gas is covered by my work?
What area of SF is your work?
I commute and cross the bridge by 5:20am at the latest. Get in early. Get out early. 20-30 min commute at most. Not much to complain about. I know guys that commute in from Sacramento, San Jose and Santa Rosa every day for 20 years.
@@rickjames4031 Well said 🙌
Don't forget the crime, unfair ratio of men to woman dating scence is greaT only if your part of the 10%, traffic now is horrendous, rent is up 50% of your income, crazy home sale prices, the overweight people cause by boredom and many restaurants, insane current gas.prices, now good : men are generally friendly, woman are robots, many social things to do clubs, bars, restaurants, gyms, if you like to hang out with other men. Culturally diverse you can always meet people from other countries. And the best part is the weather not to hot not to cold.
Do not NAP on BART. its dangerous.
I’ve napped plenty of times on Bart. Anything can happen anywhere but I hear you.
Bart's gotten WAYYY better with safety recently
100% I shouldve mentioned that @@beckiverson1531
I love CONCORD born and raised
I love Concord as well. Born in Martinez
It reminds me of my childhood in Watsonville, California.
Must’ve been a great house to grow up in!
Concord ain't too bad.. yeah not much nightlife since they closed down easily. Nice videos of Bay area.
Not bad at all, this video is more to show people that the “bad” really isn’t that bad
I love Concord, CA 94520 so much.
Me too! It’s a great place to live
Couldn't give it away! The bay has been laid to waste!
Where do you live?
I love concord its crazy tho
I love Concord too, what do you mean by crazy?
@Eastbayexclusive a teenager in a honda cut me off and pulled a pistol on me infeont of chuckycheese on market. They are fucking crazy here fr.❤ still love it just gotta know how to stay safe. My mom got her rent snatched out her hand at the 711 infront the police station and I had to try to run the man over to stop him and box in his car. Police didn't do shit cause "well you got the money so why should we go find him" when they had his CC info from the store he just was buying shit I'm. Smh
We don't like downtown Walnut Creek. It's so packed with bad parking. We try to go to Pleasant Hill especially when seeing a movie.
Yup, Pleasant Hill is our go to movie theater!
Walnut Creek is a liberal cesspool. I graduated from Del Valle in 1971 and couldn't wait to leave the land of fruits and nuts.
what are you talking about about? this city is so conservative lol
Conservative is an outdated term. Either you are a Pro American or you are a liberal. The Creek has become north oakland.@@raymondmorris8833
@@raymondmorris8833he's old as heck and has zero clue
Concord was not planned well as that city grew. It’s a maze and hodgepodge of streets. Also, who is in charge of public works? The city streets are deteriorating, and they haven’t painted the street lines.
Terrific video! I have been to SF many times but I will definitely check out Walnut Creek next time I visit from gorgeous Vancouver - in many ways there are some similarities to SF! Cheers!!
Out of all of the places in the East Bay, the Walnut Creek area is one of my favorites.
I love Walnut Creek!

Place sucks bad don't move here I can't imagine how much money would make this a fun place to live

you do realize that to solve the homeless problem you have to have cheaper homes, right? You can't want higher home value growth and fewer homeless people at the same time.
I hear you, It’s a tough one, but as far as affordable housing goes, it baffles me that the Bay Area hasn’t developed a true tract of affordable tiny homes.
@@Eastbayexclusive well I believe this is a perfect compromise from the governor. Nobody in the conservative side will ever support public housing and home owners hate it even more. So opening up development opportunities pretty equally in all sectors makes sense. Home owners don't want developers to get all the opportunities, and it makes sense for religious places to build shelters for the homeless. It just all makes a lot of sense to me
@@chihchang1139 I just hope that the religious communities truly supply affordable housing
Homeless people are not primarily people who are without a home because housing is not 15-30% cheaper. It's a fundemental misunderstanding of what causes the homelessness visible on the streets of all major CA cities.
@@mrb152 Would you like to elaborate?
