The MIDI shown in this video is unplayable on an actual piano (mainly because bass notes are too low, but the excessive amount of chords in the right hand part could also be tricky). But the sheet music I linked below is a playable version. IMO the bass part sounds better in the video than an octave higher like in the sheet music. yes sounds like the performer is playing 8th notes instead of 16th. possibly different interpretation or arrangement.

24:39, 33:34, and 35:09 can be played by alto saxophone.
I like these pieces, but I really wouldn't consider them to be etudes. If anything they're melodies which Hoffmeister either never got around to writing accompaniments for or were ultimately incorporated into other works.

Hello! This is not my audio, so I’m not sure. But it does sound like it! Good luck :)
Have a look at IMSLP or at the nice facsimile printed by Fuzeau for the original 18th-century publication. The Peters (and various reprints) edition edited by Friedrich Hermann about 150 years ago adds a number of slurs that weren't in Hoffmeister's own edition, and makes a number of other changes (including -- mercifully!!! -- removing the TENTHS; Hoffmeister must have had a large hand or a small viola, or both, I imagine). This performance removes a few of the slurs that Hermann added. There are a lot of places where you can choose to follow Hermann or not.
