Would you say it has a purple undertone ?

You supposed to do bleach bath on towel damp hair, also avoid the roots untill the end. You gave yourself hot roots, that developed faster than the rest of the hair. Your head gives a lot of heat, what results in hot roots when the bleach sits on them for the same amount of time as the rest. I have heard that you need to wait abt 20 mins from putting the bleach bath all over, avoiding roots. And after 20mins add the bleach bath to your roots.

I've just bought a 2pk of the Directions Ebony and Slate, 2 for 1, got a bargain! Tried indigo, Henna, hair dyes on my dye resistant Afro natural greying hair, hope this works! Temporarily using a homemade hair stain/dye made from charcoal powder mixed with hair gel and Tresemme conditioner! Not the strongest dye, just economical! Saves cash! Uk 1.5.23 🇬🇧

Hey hope you reply my birthday is tomorrow tried to dye my wig an on re orange and black. Although when I rinsed it everything got darker. When I tried to remove the color it turns pink and green. After a second try it's yellow blonde and still green. Could this work if I'm going for a blue now.

I'm trying to go from a green to a red colour so I'm watching your video to hopefully help me :) last time i did a bleach bath i don't think i did it right so im gonna try again

Stop bleaching the lengths.... you have removed all natural pigment and this is why it's not holding color. Their is no protein left either.... but color oops to remove color and just bleach roots.

I am licensed for 26 years. If you are using a stronger deeper green there is no reason to do a bleach bath at all. Just lighten your roots

Ugh thank you! I've only ever seen this on very faded hair. I JUST dyed my hair candy apple green last Friday and it's fun, but I'm feeling like it's not me and want to go back to my grey. But I also just bleached my roots so bleaching out color is not an option. Will be trying a bleach bath for sure.

The best dark color, green, blue, plum... Look the best on 7 level blonds! That's my experience 🤷🏼‍♀️ and I always mix alpine green and midnight blue, and turquoise 🤭 together, with a pinch of dark blue, green has priority. I like your hair, very much though you expected more green. 🤗🥰

I have the same blue/green though it may be a little darker blue towards the roots in spots,I also have dark roots (not too long). So a bleach bath helps to lighten them if I wanted to instead of using just a bleaching? Wanting that lime on top yellow bottom..

I think it's the dye. I've done The same the ebony colour over red/brown hair and it's gone even redder. No idea how as the ebony black is blue green based so it should cancel out the red tones not make them worse. I'll be doing it again with the castings ebony semi perm and hope the end result is better than this 🤨

I've got the black hair bug again right now after going blonde recently and being mostly brunette for several years - I used to use the Poly Tint permanent dye in Raven though many years ago when I was younger and loved having black hair (left it in nice condition and it was cheap too). The only thing that put me off was the mess! Really want to do it again but not sure I want it so permanent - was thinking of Directions or the Adore semi-permanent dye in jet black. Thanks for sharing - I know a bit more what to expect now. Might take the leap again and just go permanent, or just go on a binge of trying different semis lol!
