My vision for this channel transcends mere entertainment; it's about sparking inspiration and igniting passion within each viewer. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast ...
Good job
Ok
Had to stop watching. You end every sentence with "K" except for the occasional sentence you end with "Ok". Very annoying. 😳
That’s for the feedback John.
Thank you for fixing Tesla's design mistakes!
Seems cool but don't really see the need. It only negates the need to push the hood down to latch. Mine requires only the very slightest push to operate.
damn. i miss the cutoff. theyre only 2021+
Love your install video.. but why didn't you get the powered FRUNK vs the SoftClose?
Thank you
Dont do it
Something simple as a garage door opener button on the infotainment center without using my Q or home link. Just like my Hyundai Santa Fe garage door opener programmed to my craftsman garage door opener.
Absolutely right! Lot of things that can be added especially for an expensive car
I have seen people pushing too hard and have either scratched or dented their frunks. It also reduces the amount of fingerprints on the hood if you are ocd like me.
Ok and thank you bossman. Ordered one.
Great instructions and seems really usefull on the car. Video was sometimes a bit shaky and blurry :)
You’re good man!
Thanks for your video, good explanation! 😊 Still I have one question: You attached the device to ground and directly to the low voltage battery. Is there any current limitation (fuse) in place just in case the little frunk motor might somehow fail?
Stop saying Ok ALL the time, could not finish the video because of all the OK and allright…………….
It's not that serious
Who’s cares… okay ✅.
This's great option and video is very detailish. But the best is your final conclusion comment.
Way too many,,ok”
Noted... I'm a work in progress. Thanks for the feedback
Ok
Will this work on a 2024 model y? I see it says 2023
It will work on the 2024 model
the limiter did not snap in place.. it worked better without the limiter
Yo !! U be scrachin my hood! Ty, I will use ur link to get me one.
Nice video 📹 😊
👏
If the soft close motor fails...will the front hood still be able to open? From the looks of the design it seem to be able to open but just wondering...
I wondered this, too. There’s another video on CZcams of this installation where he shows that, if the power fails to the additional unit, pressing the regular open button a couple of tones will allow the trunk to still open.
Love the look. So sorry about the centre console. That must have been heart braking. This is the first install of this product that I've seen break 😓
Okay
No kidding! Not having an auto-closer is ridiculous.
Can’t wait to see you frunk light install and link to accessory.
Exactly what I need! Until I get one, my frunk remains irrelevant and unusable. Thank you, sir!
Great video. Thanks for the walkthrough. I did find it somewhat difficult to get through though, as you say ‘okay’, or ‘kk, at the end of most semtamces. It was triggering me pretty early on 😅
I’m entering a new space with this CZcams thing, totally understandable.. Noted, thanks for the honest feedback, I’m definitely a work in progress
@@ididthat101 If you're starting out, then you're doing great. I feel equipped and confident to do the task after watching the video 😄 Thanks again.
Bro best price online linked in description thanks for the video
Lol i just push on the emblem with my palm and it easily closes
Ours doesn’t. Pushing with one hand would dent the hood.
@@SideQuestStijn I missspoke, I press just below the emblem with one hand, same for my model 3 and Y
Great video! Can you update the description adding a link to purchase the product from?
Thanks for the feedback. I added it..
@@ididthat101 thank you, much appreciated
Everything better than the shitty satonic soft closer
Wow, I'm your 52nd subscriber! I really hope your channel reaches 52k by the end of the year if you continue creating such creative content.
Thank you, much appreciated 🙏
👍👏👏👏👏👏🔥
If you accidentally opened the frunk, can this be used to close it back remotely?
I like this. Will order one as well. Keep up the good work. Greetings from the Netherlands 😁
Awesome! Thank you!
They also sell one that includes the electric struts that open and close the frunk.
Problem with those is, when they fail you will have to go to Tesla and then need to take off the bumper and break into the frunk to fix it.
Great video! Thanks for sharing...just ordered me one
What is the point of all the electric gadgets? They do not enhance the driving experience in any way and will result in higher repair costs in the future. "Entertainment" systems installed 5 years ago are obsolete and impossible to find replacement parts for, thus decreasing your car's resale value.
Very true but it's just something that's beneficial to me!
just do what i do with my Model Y, never use ur frunk
LOL! I know a lot of people who do just the same!
Where are the links for the product?
www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006362713613.html
For how small the aftermarket unit is. Why didn’t Tesla just do it themselves
I agree! It took me less than an hour to install… it should be standard for all models!
@@ididthat101 It is in the cybertruck. Maybe it will be standard soon. What happens if the unit fails. Will the flunk pop open.
🔥🔥 🔥🔥
EXCITING!!! Can't wait to see more!!
