I knew nothing about Public Adjusters until I my company adjuster did me wrong. Since company man devalued my claim to under my deductible, I can only come out ahead.

I challenge anyone whose able to answer this appropriately; police report states driver 1 at fault, driver 1 was going 0 miles an hour confirmed by them as well. Driver 2 was moving 8 miles per hour and hit driver 1, among many other inconsistencies' from police report. Driver 1 is ready to sue over being claimed at fault when they werent even in motion. HOw would you handle this issue? If driver one is relieved of fault they get refunded a deductible as well as theyve paid there full insurance continuously for the last 4 years since accident, but hasnt driven the truck bc its undriveable and claims to be totaled. They get payment of truck at the time of wreck as well as possible back payments for the policy since it occured. Their insurance provider a major provider in San antonio, didnt investigate or take witness into account and based it off the one line in police report that claims fault. its a hairy situation, any auto adjusters chime in on this with experience?

you can just hold it up so the rear of the tool does not touch the roof, the amount of force to drive a roofing nail is not so much

Roofing companys refer to this as damage caused by a person, possibly inadvertently.

Can you cover what we can do as contractors to push back on the argument that only the directly damaged shingles are covered and damages in the attempt to repair are not covered? Is there an argument that doesn't cross the line into adjusting?

He said “well, there is power to it”. Does that mean he’s going to tell my insurance company that it was not lightning damage??what to do if my claim denied for that?

Love the discussion about matching, what it is vs what it isn't. Too many desk adjusters have a distorted understanding of this. Maybe next time, can you touch on how using ordinance and law can help on this front? So many desk adj don't seem to grasp the difference between compatibility as mandated by the IRC and Reasonable Uniform Appearance.

You aren't considering that the nail keeps it raised at the beginning of the procedure. It doesn't start with the head all the way down.. 😅 its raised by the nail length. You lower it as the nail is driven.. keeping it parallel. Pretty simple. Learning curve... Just place a nail in the slot.. and redo your demo.. you'll instantly see than the head cannot be angled like you claim.

What if they say mechanical damage on auto claim… when there was no internal engine work done????

The scope for most companies state to share the estimate with your contractor and if additional items are needed have them contact the adjuster?

If a roofer cannot ethically install a damaged shingle...their roofing license gives them authority and subject matter expertise to recognize shingle damage...without an engineer You cannot invalidate a trade license By that logic the state would need to require every skilled trade worker to be an 8 year Proffessional Engineer

Does Huggins processecute criminal charges? I want a lawyer that will pursue criminal charges when the claim decision is overturned in court

OC may "allow a repair"...I've seen an instruction from a manufacturer for a roof over lay...I guarantee they won't guarantee it. Show me the warranty. No manufacturer warranty...no manufacturer approval

No, you don’t need a public adjuster! You can send the bulletin no matter what!

My engine was ruined by vandalism on a lot while being repaired … the vandal dumped a bunch of wrong antifreeze in engine and poked a hole in new tires! My insurance is calling it a workmanship issue since it was a a repair shop so they can say it is not covered! I have full coverage … it covers vandalism… and perils .., but my insurance does not define workmanship! They say go after shop! I have been customer 16 yrs no major claims! The shop will not give me there insurance name.. my insurance will not give me or help me get there name! The police can’t prove vandalism because they didn’t see it happen .. they can only confirm I reported vandelism!!!! Can you offer any help on how to get the name of the garages insurance name???? And give any help/advice on how to overcome my insurance company calling it a workmanship issue … when the shop worked on other things like wheels and control arms … but no internal engine repairs!!!!😢

Do not use Recovery Public Adjuster located in Culpeper VA. They did not negotiate on my behalf and used these numbers as my insurance company quoted me. All they care about was getting their fee.
