At first, I wasn't a fan of this take on Aigis' voice because I thought it sounded more human than it should have, but when I realized that the way she spoke was what changed instead of her voice (For example, she goes from saying a very neutral sounding "Low thermal readings." to clearly freezing in her next line, "It's... Cold..!") I started liking it more. By the end of the game, she had one of my favorite voices because it sounded sweet, but also epic when it needed to be, as well as just incredibly pleasant to listen to. Her VA did a wonderful job, and I can't wait to hear more in The Answer! My favorite line has gotta be "Down but not out, as they say!" (0:17), though I also find myself enjoying how she says this line: 1:19 (What is she saying there, exactly?)

The fact that Akira Ishida, the OG JP VA for Minato Arisato/Makoto Yuki, is in his 60s now, yet still manages to convey the voice of a teenager, just goes to show how talented he really is 🫠🫠🫠

There's no bigger upgrade than this, in my opinion. I love how she says "The enemy lines are broken! Now's your chance!" (18:09) Especially.
