Using Greek disconnects the congregation from the Word. The bible has been translated, we don't need to speak Greek. As someone who learned a second language, you cannot take one word out of a sentence, and attach one of its many synonyms and force it back into the sentence. Trying doing that with the English word "club". "I burned my club". You can be talking about a building, sandwich, or blunt object here. This is why unless you actually can speak Greek or Hebrew fluently, isolating singular words and attaching different meanings is folly and again disconnects everyone else from being able to read the bibles we have.

I have listened to and read and studied John MacArthurs works for close to fifteen years. I've recently started having doubts about him. And this video is the first I've heard of why he thinks A-C will be the Muslim Mahdi. He said the reason he believes this is- The Quran and Hadith practically mimic what John wrote in Revelation. He said The Quran was not written by God or Allah but Satan. What he didn't say was that Revelation was written around 90AD while the Quran around 635 AD. So Satan wrote a book plagiarizing Revelation. He had 500+ years to study Reveation. But this isn't what John is saying. He is putting the Quran on the same level as the inspired word of God. Because the Quran matches Revelation the A-C must be the Muslim Mahdi. Even though if what he says is true about the Quran, and the Quran is written by Satan and not inspired of God, then it is obvious that that eschatology was plagiarized by Satan. He seems to mislead through contradictions. My mind is blown. The Quran is nothing. Not inspired nor prophetic concerning the truth of God's word. The fake Jews who call themselves Zionist but are really the Synagogue of Satan and the Satan worshippers who call themselves Islam are both expecting their respective Messiah to show up this year. Why didn't John say the Zionist Messiah? No, I heard correctly. He said the AC will be The Mahdi because the Quran said so putting it on the same level as the Bible. Because it matched words with the Bible. And not mentioning the 500+ years different between the beginning of Christianity and beginning of Islam. When did John start the guessing game.
