The original creators of command and conquer series was Westwood until EA bought it and shut them down. The original story was Tiberian sun, and then there's command and conquer Red alert. The original story of the command and conquer franchise was about a meteor that hit a planet with the material called tiberium. Every command and conquer game outside of Tiberian sun and red alert are spinoffs that EA made. After a while they try to go back with Kane's wrath and tiberium wars but it just wasn't the same. Command & conquer generals was okay. Renegade was more of a first-person shooter not even working for the GDI or not but you were a mercenary in that one. Oh by the way in the story The GDI are the global defense initiative. I forget what NOD was. the leader of nod was the creator of the command and conquer franchise and Westwood. cuz they used like workers from Westwood and put them into the character stories which is actually pretty cool.

Command & conquer has been around since the early to mid-90s. 1995 September

EA release the original on steam. So you have the original command and conquer but it's called the remastered collection of the original first one 18 bit or normal. Then you have command and conquer Red alert 3, command and conquer 3 tiberium wars and command and conquer 3 Kane's wrath. All of those on steam

Sadly multiplayer doesn't work correctly with their games even on the steam you have to go on a site create an account sadly it's called command and conquer online c&c online
