At first, I thought the performance was on point yet seemed dry or sterile. But as my mind caught up with my ears , the completeness of the interacting multi textural representation combined with a relaxed, comfortable vocal style. I can feel the vocal quartet as if complete harmonies due to great choices in vocal leading combined with some amazing orchestration enabling a single vocal and single acoustic guitar appropriately articulating what feels to be a complete delivery of multi layered symphonic beauty. Bravo Maestro, an attentive standing ovation from the entire house, is deserved in gratitude and respect for the powerfully brilliant sonic creations. An impressive presentation thick in content. If i saw you strain with supreme effort, the results are comparable to a focused mental dissertation of multiple players,straining focus to properly execute a performance like that. Yet you do it single handedly with a smooth, easy magic that is casual and effortless. I know you've heard it before , admiration and awe regarding your musical talents. I work in the business of live theater, mostly live musical performance for top touring musicians. For over twenty-five years, I've worked side by side with artists of the Studio, Radio, Screen, and Broadway. What you create, wuth apparant ease is rather rare, and I can't wait to see more.

Greg, 10/10 flippin triffic man talent in spades, wow (and no polite diners swaying in seats enjoying desert is a bonus)
I’ll join the chorus. Impressive! Acoustic rock doesn’t get the respect it deserves. This sounds great on the acoustic (as do many of the great rock songs). I dig a good electric piece but you gotta love an acoustic cover done right. An aside: So many CZcams guitarists play this solo with all the notes in all the right order, but Can’t Keep Time (and don’t seem to mind it). Well, it matters. It is at least as important to properly play the space between the notes as it is to play the right notes. Probably more so. Hearing someone lock in tight to the groove like this reminds us how much.

Thanks Pookie - it’s a Kala U-Bass, one of the original models. It has the original black strings on it which sound great (as you can hear) but I changed them for silver wound nylon because they stretch over time and go out of tune, and can sometimes stick to your fingers when you’re sliding.

Why is this man not famous?
I've known Greg since he was 16 years old and while I can't answer that question for him, the one thing I can't say with confidence is that he has always been more about the music than the fame. Greg is very well-known on the Toronto music scene (like among other musicians). Collaborates a lot, he has a band, a solo act and occasionally participates in produced projects like various Classic Albums Live tours. He's a brilliant songwriter and has written, recorded and produced three albums. He has a very loyal following in Toronto and other in Canada, the US, And around the world. Here's the fun part. Greg's first instrument and first love is not the acoustic or electric guitar. It's the bass guitar (well at least was, last time I asked him). He has a music degree from McGill University where he specialized in acoustic (stand up) bass And that's what he played in our band when I had my little brush with fame way back many moons ago. He's also literally one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life. That's not an exaggeration.
