The third behavior of great problem solvers is to Embrace Your Ignorance. Don't be afraid of asking "stupid" questions, it's what you don't know that stands between you and solving the problem. To learn more, visit: www.stroudinternational.com/offerings/tools/stop-guessing
Know What Problem You Are Solving

the Background music is very annoying. We want to learn, not listen to the music.

How to simplify and understand Facts vs Hypotheses? Practice applying Facts, not hypotheses. czcams.com/video/jt5gcJAHzPs/video.html
I disagree with this definition. A zero based aproach would be to guess that the jar full of coins was not in the garden for a starter, and to canvas the whole house. You are assuming the first concept was right. Don't. Start from Zero
Great vid
Precise! Thank you.

The Earth is cooler with the atmos/GHGs/albedo not warmer. To perform as advertised the GHGs require “extra” energy upwelling from the surface radiating as a black body. The kinetic heat transfer processes of the contiguous atmos molecules render that scenario impossible. No greenhouse effect, no GHG warming, no man/CO2 driven climate change or Gorebal warming. Fosbury’s revolution started with the first step of his run up and not with arching his back over the bar. His run was much faster than that of other competitors because his takeoff was less efficient. What he gained over the bar was small change. The reason the flop is universal these days is because it is easier to learn and teach. It is not necessarily the more efficient technique. He developed it from a layout scissors.
Bullshit
Explain why Burt
@@imtruegeordiesballscratche9261 Not bullshit. I am a sport science graduate, an ex-jumper and coached the high jump for 15 years. I understand the event very well. In pure efficiency terms, there’s nothing between the straddle and the flop. The straddle however, is more demanding of hip flexibility. Either way, all the important work in high jumping is done on the ground. Biomechanist Dr Jesus Dapena, who advised a lot of top American jumpers, including former World Champion Jesse Williams, will tell you the same thing. If you can’t jump in the first place, it doesn’t matter what technique you use, you’re not going to win gold medals. The flop technique doesn’t get you something for nothing. It’s about trade offs. But ultimately you have to be able to get off the ground. czcams.com/video/reI165sqh-I/video.html
It’s easier to get your center of mass over because it passes under the bar the other styles require much more effort for that the flop when done right allows the approach to do all the work for the clearance
@@surreal_feelins This is barely theoretically possible. It’s not the reason the flop has become ubiquitous. Even Fosbury himself did not have a big back arch. He just went over on his back. Hi CoG wouldn't have gone under the bar and even then, all the work was done on the ground. The straddle runup and takeoff are very different from the flop.
Great video. Thank you.

The technique described as Straddle is actually the Scissor Style!
No, that’s Rolf Beilschmidt. He was definitely a straddler.

I have worked in IT consulting for 17 years and it has always been a challenge to explain to people the amazing diversity of opportunity and experience that consulting affords. Great job on taking a broad topic and making it understandable!
czcams.com/video/angKvxaiHDE/video.html - I agree with your comments - you have to have the depth to see what's really needed and to give the right advice or build the right solutions for the client - and consulting has been my life's work as well - been at it for close to 30 years. Thanks for putting these thoughts out there for people. - Dan
