If you are looking for safe, fun entertainment this summer, look no further! Rubicon Theatre Company presents a Safe-Distance Drive-In Concert Series at the Ventura Fairgrounds. See a LIVE 75-minute concert performed on stage and projected onto large screens - all from the safety and comfort of your car. The concert is mixed live and comes in through your FM radio or your phone.
Travel back in time to Vegas of the late ‘60s - a time when the Rat Pack ruled, martinis were the drink du jour, and the early morning show at the Sands was the place to be. Swoon to the croon of Broadway leading man and Ventura native ANDREW SAMONSKY backed by a 9-piece swing band with arrangements by QUINCY JONES!
2 AM AT THE SANDS: SAMONSKY SINGS SINATRA plays for three nights only, Monday, July 20, Tuesday, July 21 and Wednesday, July 22 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $99 and children under 12 are free, with proceeds benefitting Rubicon’s mainstage and educational programs. Tickets are general admission within row and section, and patrons are encouraged to pack a picnic or pick up a meal from a downtown eatery and come early (the lot opens at 6:30 p.m.). A few patron tickets are still available, which include prime parking, names projected on the screens, and other benefits. For safety reasons, tickets are only available in advance and will not be on sale at the venue, which is located at 10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura, CA 93001.

Being myself a working actor . Whom was studying acting in quiet few places including la schools . Must say the stuff I just have seen - bad acting . All very theatrical . It arrived in New York this past September. It tiptoed in and I only found out by chance. Have now seen it three times: it is a perfect interpretation of one of my favorite childhood books and I am encouraging EVERYONE to see it. Not just nostalgia: a beautifully staged and interpreted story.
It's amazing; seeing the journey this show has taken.
