AnalogMagik Version 2 Combined Azimuth LR & VTA Tool
AnalogMagik Version 2 is the world's first tool to allow users to adjust Azimuth using only 1 single test track, on the fly.
It allows you to see both L and R channel's Crosstalk together in real time. On top of that, the Vertican Tracking Function is also combined into 1 single track, which means you can perform 3 measurements at once, and on the fly.

Tonearm Anti-Skating: How to set tonearm antiskating (AnalogMagik Tutorial 5)
zhlédnutí 36KPřed 6 lety
Visit www.AnalogMagik.com to find out more information. As the turntable spins, the stylus of cartridges mounted on pivoted tonearms may exert uneven pressures on the Left vs the Right grooves walls. Microscopically, this imbalance may result in higher distortion levels on one side of the groove walls vs the other. To counteract this force, most tonearms will have an anti-skating dial which wil...

Every step we take has single goal in mind, and that is to retrieve what was recorded on the groo...

Visit www.AnalogMagik.com to find out more information. Most cartridge manufacturer will specify a number which the Tracking Force should be set at. More often than not, this number is a range instead of a fixed number (eg. 1.8g to 2.2g on most cartridges). Azimuth: How to setup Cartridge horizontal balance (AnalogMagik Tutorial 3)

Visit www.AnalogMagik.com to find out more information. Azimuth refers to the horizontal balance of the cartridge when viewed from the front. Visual methods using...

Vertical Tracking Angle: How to setup VTA / SRA (AnalogMagik Tutorial 4)

Visit www.AnalogMagik.com to find out more information. Vertical Tracking Angle refers to the angle of the tonearm (specifically, the angle of the cantilever vs the LP) when viewed from the side. This in turn determines the Stylus Raking Angle (SRA), it is the angle in which the stylus is raking the record grooves at. An excellent place to start the VTA Angle, is to visually observe the stylus ...

    Not an easy thing to use. You need a crazy sharp microscope not to mention great vision power to spot the tiny stylus and it's vertical alignment

    • @richardmak9866
      @richardmak9866 Před měsícem

      No, AnalogMagik does not relie on visual methods. It is based on measurements while the stylus is playing on the grooves. Visual methods are unreliable because whatever is eyeballed visually will change when the vinyl spins.

      Sure she did. You raise or lower your tonearm and using their software you want the lowest intermodulation distortion. Or you can do it by ear which is much less accurate as most ears are messed up from too many Black Sabbath & Ted Nugent concerts in the 70's.

    Excellent video! This tutorial, and procedural method is the best one I've watched on CZcams! Thank you for all these clear, detailed descriptions, and procedures. I am detailed for the most part, and try to be exact; I've upgraded, and repaired my desktop computer, and upgraded my laptop computer. However, I honestly don't know, have the skill, and experience to get these things correct, yet. Very good video! Thank you very much for your wise advice, detailed instructions, close up views, and helpful tips on the adjusting of phono cartridge, and tonearm. The tonearm is not something I knew had to be accurately aligned as well. Again, thanks, AnalogMagik lady. Also, there is a saying from Mr. Vinyl TV; and it is Vinyl is final.

      If possible adjust belt tension if you have a separate motor or try a slightly larger or slightly smaller belt. Depending on your TT brand there may be aftermarket aids like precision sub platters that help tighten up speed inconsistencies. Don’t throw your TT in the garbage.

    I don't say this often and no, I don't own the product, but this company has really thought this product out from the protractor and azimuth alignment gauge to the software. It's not cheap, but considering all that you can do with all three products, I have to admit it's actually worth it if you have an expensive analog set up that you want to ring every last drop of performance out of your set up. I own both the Dr. Feickert protractor and the Mint LP and the product is based off of the Mint LP principals, but they went past even what the Mint LP does and the Dr. Feickert combined and then some. This company left nothing to chance and I watched all 8 videos before making this statement.
