This is the #251 Ibanez 1000 Burnt Transparent Blue from 1994 (very first series!) - 100% original - in excellent condition (Ibanez case and original whammy bar included)!
The JS1000 was introduced in 1994 discontinued after 2014. Its twenty-one year run made it the longest running JS model to date.
But the examples produced in the very first years are very different from the versions produced after 1997: the quality of woods and finishes is so much higher.
This is one of the first 300 ever made, featuring:
1-piece maple neck (marvellus!)
Neck type “JS Classic”
Lo Pro Edge (best bridge)
Push n’ Pull coil split
Abalone dots with “JS Custom” inlay
It’s the heaviest Ibanez I ever played (except for the JEM 20th, of course): the body is so dense, but very confortable and smooth.
The neck and the sound are incredibly smooth too. Frets 75%, shining tuning machines and shining bridge, no oxidation, no neck pocket cracks.
Elixir strings 009-042 on, low action.
Very very little cosmetic wear (please see pics and video).

The JS1000 is a JS Series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1994. It is a signature model of American guitarist Joe Satriani. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.
It features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with abalone dot position markers. Components include a pair of DiMarzio humbuking pick-ups mounted in metal pickup rings and a double locking tremolo.
From the beginning, there are two finishes available: Black Pearl (BP) and Burnt Transparent Blue (BTB, which was known as Transparent Blue in the US). Initially both finishes were released in all areas. Later on the Black Pearl became an USA exclusive finish for the JS1000 while the Burnt Transparent Blue was offered only in Europe and Japan. In 1997, the JS1000 didn't appear in the US catalog. In 1998 the White finish was added to the lineup in all areas. With the introduction of the Edge Pro in 2003, this finish disappeared again. From 2008 and on, the BTB was phased out. As of 2010, the JS1000 is only available in BP.
Another change for 2010 is the tremolo: the Edge Pro is replaced with the original Edge.
The Edge was introduced in 1986 and has been used for various JS models, but it is the first time it is offered on the JS1000.
