P100 Pro Motor Connector Checks - Essential Maintenance For Your Drone
This is an essential check that should be carried out every 10-20 hours of running.
The fixings that keep the connection tight between the prop motors and the ESC's must be properly tightened to avoid excessive current draw and over heating.
This 15 min check will keep your drone running smoothly.

The commute to work is always more fun with a drone in tow... This was Monday's run in the under-sowing job in the South West. We're really putting the new trailer through its paces and I have to say it's been a revelation. XAG's Big P100 Pro Spray Drone Is Coming To The UK - What Makes It So Great?
Hello, I am doing the terrain coding manually, how can we do it through the program? I am a xag p2020 user. If you respond, please
Is it automatic or we have to control it using remote
How high was the p40 being flown for this test and what were the results?
Cool box for sure
Yorkshire, obviously

OOOOOOO ... we are getting closer and closer to the future norm !! Agri is the way for all forms of automation.
We should talk a little bit about how nature is"exposed", it's more than time to think of it. When all pollinators will be wiped off, will we still have eyes to cry ? And for which result ?

How to buy it
Looks great, but are people earning good money to make this a viable business? Keeping in mind setup cost and training, etc. I've been looking into it for a while, so I'm genuinely interested to know.
The short answer is yes. The first place people have been earning is green house shading. It pay's very well and there's more than you would think in the UK. At the moment the areas to earn money are what niche ones, like seeding, fertiliser spreading but as soon as plant protection products are authorised in the UK, this will become much more wide spread. To give you something specific, they guys from QuadRotor Services bought 1 x P40 drone last year. They now have an order in for 2 x P100 Pros because they have so much work.
Ok sounds interesting 🤔 I've seen your previous videos about greenhouses but I'll start looking into it in more depth. Is there a hopeful date on chemical spreading?
@@jamescoe6466 The first PPP Chems have been approved. In fact we were spraying on PPP's most of this week. These were under trial permits which will become more accessible over the coming months. It will then be an ongoing process with each PPP chem being authorised individually.
Well .... did it rain ?? CHEERS
Birds don't like drones!
Without application rates and payload weights ha/hr doesn’t mean anything.
Any update on when approval for spraying Herbicides and Pesticides likely?
Results’n that??
Wow. Such a great example of the need for this drone technology. Hopefully will see you back with a P100, or even a P150 when they arrive in UK. Makes me want to get qualified, invest in a complete setup and join you on a job in the future. Hopefully will get to see you at a demo in the near future. 👍
Thanks for the feedback. It's an exciting time in agri-drones. It really is the dawn of a new era...
@@autospraysystemscertainly looks that way. 👍
Inspired! I really want to do that job so I’ve purchased the A2CofC and GVC courses. I guess I’ll need to train on hoppers and spraying. Thanks, really like your videos.👍🏼
You're starting in the right place. Get your GVC and some flying hours. Then if you're interested in getting qualified to fly these large agri-drones, check out the links in the video notes.
Thanks for sharing. Great information.
Thanks for sharing 😎
Do you have an after video? Be good to see if it works into a standing crop? I imagine results could be variable

Good day, I have a question. Do UK plant protection products also have an approved dose for drone spraying on the packaging? Who decides what is the dose with which the drone will apply the spray? Thank you in advance.
Thanks for the question. At the moment, it's not legal to spray Plant Protection Products (PPP's) in the UK. If they appear on the Pesticide register you have to apply for special permission to apply them from a drone. So to answer your question, no, there's no dosage info on the packing but... This will change over time. There is a strong focus from the Government to get commercial drones into regular operations in agriculture. This area is regulated but the Health and Safety Executive in the UK, more specifically the Chemical Regulation Division (CRD) manages this process and we're working closely with them to make spraying PPP's by drone a reality. I've done a video about this. It'll be online over the next week or so.
What were the results for the p40?
Hi Geth, thanks for the question. The preliminary results point to an optimal spray width of 3.5 meters. The final experiments will be completed in Jan/Feb 2024 and we'll publish a report after that.
Which price this product
Sorry this parodies no longer available.
What sowing rate was used? Thanks
We were using 9Kg's per hectare
@autospraysystems that's a very high rate? What is the lowest rate you can do and do you use a carrier product, if so what do you use?
@@gethda Yes, it was at the high end. With a lower capacity auger fitted you can go down to 2kg per hectare
'Promo sm' 😅
May i know the cost of this robot?
Really interesting video and something I've been thinking of entering as a drone enthusiast. My background is in remote sensing and artificial intelligence and so I was wondering if there is much interest in multispectral surveying of fields at the moment? Perhaps something that is more useful when you are also able to conduct precision spraying operations as well.
👍👍
Some farmers will invest but most would rather outsource the service. Partly because of the training required and the need to keep abreast of changing regulations. In the uk, many farmers rely on contractors so it’s really business as usual.
Great video, as a drone enthusiast but with no agricultural background my question would be why don't the farmers invest in this relatively cheap and simple tech for themselves rather than outsourcing it?
Many farmers are used to outsourcing spraying operations to specialist companies. Agricultural Contractors are part of the normal way of working in the UK. Also, some farmers will only need this service at certain times of year and investing in training and equipment mean they would rather outsource. All that said, the largest market in the short term will be specialist markets like green house shading. These are high value areas and drone offer the fastest and safest way of applying the paint.
Can we have a chat about this?
Are you about on Friday?
