This lecture helped me so much that I am almost lost of words... My hobbies are mainly focused to HV AC electricity and last weekend found that there is a lot I don't know.. For example what I knew before was that there is no frequency on DC. But when it is certain way pulsed DC then there is frequency.. Like that (6 Pulse Rectifier circuit) I was just wondering... And I'd like to ask if you can give me advice...? I have 50 kVA dist-trafo which is used as step up purposes. Inner connections are Yzn 11... So in AC, is every phase angled 120° to each other and to N in this situation? And how about if you put load between two phases, is the difference then like -120° and +120°? That being 240° of the overall 360° if I got it right? with *6 pulse rectifier* there wouldn't be that problem that there would be some unused power :D. Even thou its DC and the frequency would rise.. I have gone through a lots of different configurations with the ballast circuit and tried a lot different variations.. Lowest frequency I got from the HV end was 20 Hz, HV voltage was then about 18-20 kV and current 0,5-0,6 amps.. Highest voltage I managed to get out of it was about +70 kV but with rly small current.. maybe 0,1 amps or less, so pretty poor.. Best result I got was like 1-2 years ago.. HV end voltage was around 27-30 kV and current 0,750-0,8 amps. SUBBED AND LIKED!

Worst university. They are blood sucking monsters(money). They are playing with students' future. Don't even think about joining this university (think as a college). Agriculture department is nothing, they take lacs of money and teach literally nothing (in comparison to the fees)! Though agriculture department has some good professors(they are really good. Only for them, this clg is running). This university charge for everything but give very bad quality product. For the college dress they take 4000rupees and give synthetic shirts, pants, t shirt. Very bad quality clothes. Student environment is not good at all. Unnecessary record writing. You'll not get any time for self study. No freedom. I must say, Boys hostel is good. But you'll get a very small bed, very uncomfortable. If you don't have any option left, only then join this clg. And I have nothing to say about the management. Very very bad behaviour. They don't know how to behave. Work facility is very bad. It feels like a jail. In my opinion, this whole thing is just a business. University doesn't want to teach students. I don't know why they are doing this. They are running some brilliant brains of Odisha and West Bengal. There are so many students who want to study and make a great career but this university is not letting them do it. And the transportation is the same as the college.
