Thank you....sometimes there's too much moisture from the onions and makes it difficult to bind so I prefer to leave it out....but if using onions I suggest grate and squeeze any moisture ❤

Rani, these fishcakes looks delicious. Is there any specific reason why you don't add onions? Do oinions make the fishcakes to absorb extra oil which makes them soggy?

👍 Looks great, thanks for sharing! Do you have a recipe for glaced fruit? We used to be able to get glaced oranges, figs, pineapple, pears, melon, ginger, etc from Food Lovers Market. But they don't sell it anymore - probably cos they charged so much for it that it wasn't selling! And i can't find any recipes on CZcams, or anywhere else for that matter .. at least, not in the traditional South African style.
