@@ianlogan6632 I'm sorry I had to lash out but I am tired of getting reviews like this from people that have zero experience creating film. I spent a year of my life creating this with local actors that worked for free and had their hearts into the project. My dream is to create Hollywood style blockbusters with multi-million dollar budgets but I don't have that. It's not like you paid $30 to go to the theatre to watch this. It was totally free, and created on a $1000 budget with a story that I created in my mind, and special effect that I had fun using. Is it perfect? No. Could it be better? Yes. If you didn't like it just move on! Why go out of your way to bash someone's hard work? It's rude and unnecessary. Regardless of what you think, this film has a great story! There's nothing nonsensical about it! It has won several film festivals. And is well on its way to a million views. Im extremely happy with its mild success and will not be deterred to continue my pursuit of making films for fun. Again, I appreciate you watching and wish you the best!

@@randysagefilms I totally understand that you feel personally offended, but don't be. You must grow a tougher skin. You will face far more cutting criticism . Some will will come with unnecessary attacks on your person as well as the product of a bunch of peoples' efforts. No personal experience? I have been watching movies for decades! (And been involved peripherally in the making -mosttly the shooting - of many movies) Maybe I ought to be more specific.. Nonsensical: does our hero trust his weapon against the beasty or is running away a better idea?. How/why lose track of the danger as well as the dependant?. What was the purpose of the truck? I assumed the the buggy and the truck were buddies, but no ..... Why did bad truckie shoot his car share? Why was he put out by a puncture? How did he appear instantly miles ahead of them?? Superpowers and firearms? Why? . the render and movement of the beasties was well done, the energy beams , not. And the scenery was absolutely amazing, and crisply shot with good drone photography ... That didn't match the story, at all. You might understand the work, but isn't audience reception a factor in the success of a performance? Special effects are ten a penny these days.. The creative space is so competitive, the technical is delegated to resource production automation of such unfathomable complexity that spending a year on a project will be a ludicrous proposition by the time your abilities are useful. . Movie making is changithe success

There is plenty of gas still available in storage tanks and abandoned gas stations. The pickup is not clean...It was filthy and the paint is faded. I picked this truck for that reason. Even if it was clean, how do you know that this truck wasnt discovered in a garage somewhere with a cover on it, and stolen by the 2 criminals? You dont!!! I did plenty of research and theres nothing wrong with the script. It makes perfect sense. It seems to me that reviewing films is not your strong suit...A for effort though. I checked out your channel to see how a "pro" would write movies and to no surprise theres NO original content...weird!!

So everything you see in movies is what would really happen? Seriously? It's a production guy!! The truck was borrowed so I couldn't ruin the tire by driving on it. And it was a great look to see him walking into the desert. I appreciate you watching the film but I have to work with what I have given my budget.

This "chick" is my wife! And she has little or no acting experience but I thought she did a great job considering. Not everyone reacts the same in this situation so it's impossible to judge. She did scream in a few situations and I would have liked to have a professional actress in the role but I didnt have the luxury at the time. I appreciate you watching to the end and reviewing!

​@@randysagefilms I met no disrespect to your wife and that explains a lot; I'm sure she did her best. I'm not sure where you're located, but there are many real actors out there who are just looking for any opportunities like this who will do "trade for print" type work for you just to have it to add to their resume.

@@deerhaven3350 I normally do use local actors for my film but this was more out of convenience. We were able to shoot on our schedule and honestly, I thought she did a great job considering. Like I said, not everyone reacts in the same way. And since this was a chick that kept a gun by her bed side, it's probable that she wasn't as scared as some might be and had some confidence in her life and her abilities to fend off an intruder. This film has won several film festivals so I'm happy with the results regardless of not having a professional actor. Thanks again for watching!
