Planning to hop back on Legends after watching your stream. I was playing a new low pop server for a bit, but started to feel the lack of community in it. I also enjoyed the watch talk. Recently got my first watch end of last year. Went with a Seiko Presage

Back in the late 2000s, I once hit 6 out of 7 of the 30% scrolls on a Green Scarab. I think at the time, it was the highest atk scarab to ever exist in Scania at 64 atk. I hit the first 4 and failed the 5th time but it didn't break. I could have sold it like this but I decided to yolo the last 2 upgrade slots with two more 30%. To my surprise, I hit them both. It was one of the happiest Maplestory moments I have ever had. Me and my Maplestory friends were so hyped. After a few minutes, I smegad the claw to try and sell it. I remember the FM room me and my friends were in instantly got super crowded because the whole server wanted to see the claw. There was even a spam chat bidding war from the people who wanted to buy it. The highest offer I got, if I remember correctly, was I think 2.1bil. The most mesos I've ever had was 400mil. So I decided to sell it to the bidder. The next day someone whispered me inquiring about the claw. He told me his friend wrote my name on a piece of paper after my smega so when he gets on he can message me because he needed a GG claw. I told him I sold it already. He asked how much. I told him that I sold for 2.1bil. He was sad and he told me that he would have paid 4bil+ for it. I felt so sad because I could have gotten more than what I sold it for. this moment taught me something useful in life, and that is to be more patient and not act on an impulse. This was one of my best memories of Maplestory. I miss this game and my Maplestory friends!

I remember playing this with a friend, we first started out as archers, then he switched to a warrior and I switched to a thief. He went on to become a halberd focused spearman, I tried a strengtj Bandit, but abandoned it and switched to a warrior. As he progressed to dragon knight I went on to become sword fighter. He stopped playing at lvl 114 and I stopped at lvl 89 as a crusader. We played it together for around 4-5 years. When the archer hero launched I started playing again, got a pirate cygnus maxed out in a weekend, started playing a lukless archer hero and cannoneer without points in its secondary stat, got them both somewhere around 130-140 ish in a month or two and stopped playing again. Apparently in a later update they removed the need for secondary stats, but I never played that version.

Now they have protection scrolls and all sorts of other things to make scrolling easier. I know back in v.62 you just pray. My scrolls were only used if i was falling. That was my "trick" lol
