1962 Honda Corp video - Honda Dreams & CL72 Scramblers (Honda 305 Scrambler, CL77, CA77, CB77)
zhlédnutí 4,6KPřed rokem
This 1962 HONDA FACTORY FILM shows the manufacturing process of Honda motorcycles (among other things) including the making of individual parts, assembly, test riding and finally the loading of completed bikes onto cargo ships. What a huge operation. The parts of the video that particularly caught my interest was seeing Honda Dreams coming off the assembly line and being test ridden as well as ...

I ran across a video of Tohatsu 125 Twin Sport LD3 motorcycles being raced in the early 1960s in a Tohatsu Corporation video that focused on their Outboard Motor Division. This short video of LD3s being raced also includes some misc pictures and information about the Tohatsu 125 Twin Sport LD3 Race bike. I don't own the rights to anything in this video. 91 Year Old Grandmother Trying to Blow Out Her Birthday Candles

To avoid getting spittle on the cake at large, we had mom blow out candles on just her piece knowing it usually takes her several tries. It turned out to be an excellent move since this time she really outdid herself. Note that the first candle to go out was because her necklace hit it. Anyone want that first piece of cake?

This un-restored vintage motocross bike is a 1965 HONDA 305 CL77 SCRAMBLER. The old parts and modifications on this bike were left just as they were. A special thanks Jeff Mann Jr. & Sr. for kindly allowing us to shoot some video at the Oasis Motocross Track (by Clearlake Oaks, Ca.) on a closed track day where I would not obstruct any actual motocross riders. Below is a link to Jeff Mann Junior...

HAMM'S BEER SIGN (with Sound & Night Campfire)
zhlédnutí 83KPřed 11 lety
This is one of the most creative, unique and popular of all beer signs. Once you see one, you will remember it. Made in the 1960s, this vintage Hamm's beer sign plays a continuous loop of wilderness scenes, which includes a lake, waterfall, campsite and canoe. The sign gives the illusion of moving water and has a campfire with moving flames and rising smoke.

I might be a little late but this bike is a thing of beauty! Empty your bladder before hit the whoops.
Thanks! Yes, good advice, not much in the way of suspension travel. 😊

What a CRACKIN' video! Loved everybody of that...and perfectly fitting music. Thanks
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video.
I sat in a bar with my Dad, yes we kids could be there by the pool table eating our hamburger watching this sign. Smelling that bar smell. 😋I’ve always wanted this dam sign. Never found one with the sound, water all working & in my price range. Love this video.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. It's definitely a classic beer sign. I added the sound to the video.
Awesome!
It's crazy how good that engine sounds.
I own this in my garage its the full size
Nice. They are very cool beer signs!
Can’t stop smiling, grew up on Hondas the 305 being the best of the best.rode the balls off that bike .but I owned and loved the two Valkyries I had after 57 years had to hang up the helmet.best years 0f my life no regrets…. Sandman
Glad the video brought back some good memories for you of days gone by!
Übercool bike and really good music.
Thanks!
it was uncomfortable to ride at higher speeds, it needed one more gear....yeah and those leg burns and broken off keys....
Looks like Morgan Freeman in the background of the thumbnail shot around 05:50.
If so, maybe he's a Honda Scrambler fan :0)
I miss the old, animated beer signs!
Total top end power be ah blast
Honda knew how the engines exhaust system needed to be for a scrambler, now we got people building scramblers with the exhaust system on the bottom of the motorcycle, some gravel road time will show you why thats not a good idea
They're just fake, styling exercise Scramblers. Typical modern day rubbish. They're not made for off road. Anyway, clowns think you need a 1200cc twin to ride dirt roads. They find out when they drop the bike and can't pick it up.
Stupified me, into a looping trance, in front of the tall, BEER and ICE cooler. The best I have seen ,for a beer light.
Don't forget the smaller CL160, which looked much like the 250 and 305. Great little bikes too, especially with their "snuff r nots".
Yes, they were definitely a popular bike too.
I remember sitting on a hill near Phu Bai Vietnam in early 1966 feeling homesick as hell and missing my Honda CL 72 Scrambler that was wrecked by my younger brother while I was in Boot Camp. Then I heard that distinctive peal of that Honda engine heading northbound towards Hue and I saw a young Vietnamese guy on his Scrambler, hunched low behind his handlebars, making that Honda sing! A piece of home went screaming by and it felt great.
That is very cool how the guy on his Honda Scrambler in Vietnam brought back such good memories for you. Seemed like it was meant to happen. Sorry about your Scrambler getting wrecked. Hopefully your brother was ok. Thanks for your service!
I saw this bike in a magazine article covering the build.
Your tires are low on air. Check em.
LOVE THE SPAK PLUG LIGHT ! WHERE MIGHT I FIND ONE ? THANKS ...
I found this flashing spark plug cap on Amazon. Search under "Orange Cycle Parts 90 Degree Flashing Spark Plug Cap".

Good luck with your project. 👍
What a great video! The Honda Scramblers were one of my childhood defining bikes and I still really love the upswept pipes on them. Let us not overlook how absolutely CRAZY all of the riders pictured in mid-flight on a bike with so little suspension travel were back in the day!!!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. My first memory of a Honda Scrambler was when my friend and his big brother came riding up to me on his new red CL72. I thought what a cool looking and sounding bike! Yes, the suspension on the Scramblers, not to mention their weight could definitely make for a rough ride.
Great music choice.
Thanks!
Thank you for saving this bit of history.
Thanks. Hopefully it brought back some good memories of this classic motorcycle.
305 BABY !!!!
Right on!
Great video bought a cl72 last year good little bike loud though
Thanks. Congrats on having a CL72. Yeah they are loud w/o Snuff or Nots or mufflers. I do like the sound they make though.
Had a cl77 with a 337cc bore kit, raked f. forks and man did it fly !!! + sounded totially fantastic !
I'm sure it did with the big bore kit!
Great video of a great bike! It was just like my brother’s I learned to ride on at age 10 in 1969-70. Great memories.
That is very cool!
Laughing...........when I first saw "it", I though 'That looks like a d..k'. Then you called it a 'Wanker' and i lost it.
I wanted one of these, but my dad thought it was a bit too powrrful. I rnded up getting a '67 Bridgestone 175 hurricane twin, it was pretty quick and reliable, I sure put it through hell, good times!
LORD I fell in love with the sound of these bikes because of grease, your bike sounds IDENTICAL.
There was one of these in our local liquor store when I was a kid! I was enchanted!
Always loved the sound of these. Reminds me of grease 2 as a kid.
I'm not a beer drinker, but I want this sign.
CL72 タイプ1に乗ってた、タイプ1のパタパタ音が好きだったなー
はい、彼らはユニークな音を出します!
Music….! I had several 305 Honda..?
had a 305 scrambler custom tank and seat. 4inch Z bars, 6 inch dog bones and of course snuffs. bike never failed me.
Is that the precursor to the Africa Twin? Probably not, but it is suspiciously similar in concept :-)
She’s singing the song 🎶 of my people 😊❤
I love this. Please do the entire loop as it’s so beautiful and relaxing.
I think...pretty sure..the 305 was revamped by Honda and became a 325...used in the CB 350? Bullet proof. Also became the SL350 with high pipes aka a scrambler. Used set in good shape is good as gold.
Dave Ekins wonderful person great dirt bike rider.i actually have one of Daves Hondas in my father's garage
That is very cool! What a collectors item.
Great video, these bikes emanated from an entirely different time in America. Thanks for putting together this video.
Your videos are are
Hey what's the point of showing these bikes are there no way to find out how to get one that's
These BADASS Hondas will leave a HARDLY ABLESON IN THE DUST. I have a 350 stroked that screams😆😆😆😆
