Oh man. Is there any chance you have other songs from that night? I want to relive it!
OMG this is SO amazing! I can't wait to see Jacob in Philadelphia!!!!
Thanks for allowing us to experience the event with you.
There's a famous line - "if I had to explain it you wouldn't understand" - you just have to be there <3

Actually Darlene does need background vocals
Actually that should have been her song But LA LA brooks her song! Both great!
🎸🎸🎸🎵🎶🎵
Thank God for Bruce Hornsby.
Drummer starts too slow, look at Bruce gee him up.
Some drummers drive the bus, while some seem to hang off the back of the bus! That said, sounds to me like a terrible mix, unusual for Hornsby Live vids, which probably does not favor the drummer in this case.
Actually Hornsby does the count😅
🎶 🎉 2023 🎉 🎶
Go Kenny. Beautiful to see your playfulness once more.
one of our greatest songwriters
Thanks for this! This was my first Mellencamp show - I was up in the lower balcony (row D), but the sound and view on this is definitely better. (Wish I had my phone out for "Crumblin' Down"/"Gloria," that was pretty awesome.)
Que tristeza esse hino de Israel tão bonito demais
Deus abençoe ó nosso presidente Jair messia Bolsonaro e seus familiares
Ó eterno e todo-poderoso abençoe ó seu povo escolhido de Israel
Israel 🇮🇱 how’s your keeping with me for you can not kill the thought and no reason to kill as Holocaust is happening with the truth,, you are in prison of no sacred beings with the democratic exception for you🙏🏻😊.
the only thing that's killing here is your comments giving people strokes.
I am in total awe! 📚🌎✡️🔯🌎📚
How’s depression for me, Israeli has no borders sovereignty rights for the British and the USA made your proxy🤥🥺🙏🏻.
Quelle émotion 💟💟💟💟💟💟🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
surely her voice must be accepted as one of the best there has ever been
Darlene is surely a national treasure. I have also noticed that when Bruce plays with other artists he takes a backseat.
Hey thanks for everything! Here’s a little something for fun: czcams.com/video/TQUTGgZbnMg/video.html
Good version but FYI this was a La La song, just sayin!
I wonder if Bruce would ever consider doing a song by Willy Deville?
I was there that night, they were simply amazing! The band was on point all night.
Couldn't agree more - THEY will remember this VERY special night also!!
ahhhhhhhhhh my babies
Taylor!!!! 💗💗💗💗💗
I LOVE ITTTT
Dose any one has this up close and in HD ?
I love how they're harmonizing with each other 😍
🤧🤧🤧 proud of her
Wtf I am officially death in gay heaven
A bangin' rendition of a true American classic!
Awesome!
Bruce loves him some Darlene. He pitched for her to be inducted into the RRHOF at this show and guess what.............?
I hope everybody loved the Edinburgh Military Tattoo,
She's so, so sexy.
It's Michael Delguidice (but I can honestly see how you got what you got, based upon the pronunciation).
She got screwed from them!
Are you saying she got screwed by the E-street Band? Or Phil Spectre? Stevie Van Zandt and Bruce Springsteen are responsible for resurrecting her career in the 80s / 90s. They also lobbied hard for her to be in the RnR HOF; without them she would not have been at this show in 2009 or inducted into the Hall of Fame (2011). While Phil Spectre had her sing on many songs and then released them under more famous girl groups names (The Crystals, The Ronettes etc.) While she may have owed her early career to Spectre, he screwed her literally, financially and legally. While Bruce and Stevie saved her (she was working as a maid in the early 80s), and got her reconnected with the big leagues.
She overpowers his singing!
And here I always thought she was singing " They do run, run, run, run run"..... smiles))
I worship Ms. Love. But, Da DoRon Ron - Mr. Spector's Wall Of Sound '63 masterpiece - is technically not a song she - as either lead or as part of The Blossoms - were on. Keeping a long story short, Darlene (a dynamite person in real life) DID record a lead vocal track for the song, but, LaLa Brooks (the Crystals lead voice, and a lovely lady, also) did as well. When the song came out, Ms. Love was surprised to hear the release - she thought she heard her voice, and, in a way, she did. The released version is primarily Ms. Brooks, but, Darlene's vocal was mixed under it. There are a couple of points where the unmistakeable sound of Ms. Love does come through - but, briefly.
+U.N. Owen Not true. That lie that Darlene Love sang a lead vocal for the track was started by Darlene Love herself. In fact, Phil Spector has stated more than once or twice that Darlene Love was NOT in the state of California at the time that the DDRR was produced. I know he is not a wonderful guy but he co-authored, produced, managed, recorded and still owns the DDRR. Phil Spector, his engineer Larry Levine, and his arranger Jack NItzsche, have all stated that only La La Brooks sang lead on the DDRR.
And up!
Just finished again "20 Feet from Stardom" -doc. Loves! ;D
Awesome video, really love it. Where was your flight comming from, an what airline is this?.
It was an AA flight from JFK - that's all I can remember after a week in Paradise!
What a legendary British Army Regiment the Black Watch is.Fantastic.
Great to know Steve van zandt and Bruce are working in the studio with Darlene again .
that was hot hot hot
