Relax time in Etnefjellene - late April
zhlédnutí 148Před 10 měsíci
A few clips from a trip we had in late April this year. Enjoying nice and quiet days in the lower mountains of Norway. It was surprisingly hot in the day-time, so it was nice to find some places for Stanley to cool down a bit.

Please don’t ever cut down an old, dead beautiful croocked pine tree. They should be allowed to stand until they fall. ❤️ They also often serve as homes for animals. 🪺🦉🐿️🐛 So please find your firewood elsewhere. ✌️🙂👍

November. Enjoying the first cold and nice weather here in Norway. A couple of nights among the pine trees. Unfortuanately my old gopro is not really made for filming nature. It cannot handle low lighting and doesn´t really capture the beautiful colors that nature has to offer. Doing my best though, to capture the moment, by using my phone in addition to the camera. This is just the build I was looking for. Just perfect!! Thank you for the inspiration and goal. I will have to check all vids you have on this now.
Thanks for the feedback! I´m glad you found it helpful. Good luck with your van build, and let me know if you hva any questions.
La has camperizado tu? Enhorabuena
Beklager, men jeg snakker ikke spansk.
Everything IS so clever ! I love it ! ❤
Thank you :-)
Just beautiful Hakon! ❤ Your channel is seriously underrated. I know how much job it is to film and edit. And especially when thinking about that you do it all on your phone! 😅 RESPECT! You definitely deserve more likes. 🙂
My dear friend Hakon, Once again, you present here superb landscapes which make you want to travel to discover these sites "still preserved, far from human madness". What I also like is the fact that you didn't add any music, just that produced by the sounds of nature which allows for a truly immersive journey. You have made beautiful peaches, if I believe these beautiful catches that you have taken out "trout I think". I would have liked to taste this delicious meal 😋. I see that the nice Stanley was not out with you, I think this hike would have been too tiring for his little paws. Finally, I appreciated that you gave safety advice on using the stove, because far too many people ignore these essential instructions. Here is my friend, I once again enjoyed walking in the heart of these fantastic landscapes. Bravo and thank you for this beautiful report of life. With all my friendship for you, and your nice little companion Stanley, Phil
Thank you very much Phil for that very kind message. It makes me very happy to hear that. I kind of felt that this video was a bit too long. But I still had a lot of fotage that I wanted to share. So be it. 😊 Yes, you’re right. Parts of this trip has pretty ruff terrain, so it would be a bit tuff for Stanley and his short legs. 🐾 So instead he enjoyed a relaxing week with his "Gradma." Being spoiled. 😄🦴🦴🦴 I wish you a nice week my friend. 🎹🎶🎼🎵🎸 Take care.
Norway is endlessly beautiful. What a treat to be able to see these beautiful sights and experience the peace that comes with it. Thank you so very much for all of your efforts put into sharing this with us. Many blessings to you and precious Stanley ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank you very much Kaitlyn. It makes me very happy to hear that. ❤️ Take care!
Really love hanging with you on these outings, buddy. You seem to be right at home out there. Was wondering about your faithful companion and why he didn’t make the trip. Hope to see him again in your next vid. In the meantime, take good care. ~ Mark
Thanks Mark! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Well, unfortunately I couldn’t bring Stanley with me this time. He’s been having some healt issues the last year. Some parts of this route has pretty ruff terrain, and he is not fit enough yet. His short feet doesn’t help much either. 😊He had a nice week at "Granma’s" being spoiled. 🦴🦴🦴 Take care my friend
@@DetenkleFriluftsliv Sending you and Stanley good vibes. Give him my best. ~ Mark

Hi my friend Hakon, Here is another beautiful moment of escape that illustrates how pleasant life can be, in its simplest acts. Congratulations and thank you for having me participate in this walk in the heart of unspoiled nature. I wish you and Stanley a very nice week. Friendships, Phil
Thank you my friend. 🙂 I’m glad to hear you enjoyed it. I wish you a nice week too. 👋🙂🎹🎸🎵🎶
Such beutiful, peaceful place. I love it! Warm greetings, Cristina
Thank you Cristina :-)
Trout fishing in Western Norway - July
Absolutely lovely video ❤Very calming. Even though I don’t like the killing of the fish, cause I’m a vegetarian. 😊
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙂 I don’t enjoy killing the fish either. I go fishing to get food. I don’t buy meat from the store, because the meat-industry here in Norway (and in general) is horrible. And I don’t want to support that. When I catch a fish myself I know that it has lived free. I kill it quickly so that it doesn’t have to suffer for long.
@@DetenkleFriluftsliv I’m sorry for my late answer. Couldn’t agree more. You are an honest man. 🙂 So many people call themselves animal lovers. They sit out in nature watching the birds, and at the same time they’re frying their eggs 🐓and bacon 🐖 on the fire, take off their leather shoes 🐂, and then crawl down into their down-sleeping bag. 🦆🪶 I mean, why do we treat animals so differently? We let one animal sleep in our bed 🐕🦺 while another we treat like total sh🤬t. 🐷 I can’t understand that. 😢 Anyways, your videos always brings joy to me Hakon ❤️
Hei 😊, you fish, oh no 🫣😔. Thanks for not showing the live fish..., I appreciate that👍. What a beauty these landscapes, impatient to find them. Take care of yourself 🤗
Hei. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I fish for food, not for fun. :-)
Takk Håkon, but I understood the principle of fishing 😄😉. Even if I don't approve, I accept, friendship is that 🥰
Hi Hacon, this place is a paradise and Stanley is really cute and adorable! I wish you a nice Summer and send you warm greetings, Cristina
Thank you Cristina. Same to you. 🙂 Im enjoying your lovely music! 🎶❤️🎹
Definitely had me chilling with you guys, brother. Love your vids of being out and about getting in tune with the environment. Hope you guys are staying well and continuing to enjoy what life has to offer. Might be time to be hearing some new music from you. Until then, take good care. ~ Mark
Hi Mark! I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙂 Hope you and yours continue to have a nice summer. Actually I’m kind of stuck in town right now, so I’m planing to post a couple of tutorials people have requested. Hope to hear some more music from you soon. Take care 🎶🎶🎶
Stanley is absolutely adorable. Norway will always be at the top of my bucket list. I pray I will see it in person one day, so beautiful ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank Kaitlyn! 👋🙂 Well, I really hope you will have the chance to visit one day. Norway will be waiting for you. 😊
Takk Håkon for sharing this nice video 😊. Really happy to finally see Stanley, even if it's from afar... and these Norwegian landscapes that I miss so much. Take good care of yourself, big hugs to Stanley from these French friends 🐩🙋♀️...🐕🐈😉
Thanks Nathalie! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Give your four-legged one’s a hug from me. 😊
Such a beautiful place. So nice to see Stanley again! ❤ Wow, that Golden Eagle! How do you know that it was a young Eagle? All the best - Elisa 😊
Thanks for tuning in Elisa. :-) The young ones have these white part under their wings.
@@DetenkleFriluftsliv You learn something new every day. 👍😄
My dear friends Hakon and Stanley, You present here a superb video with such soothing landscapes. I see that the adorable little Stanley took advantage of this beautiful walk, alternating naps and swimming "he's right". While dad immerses himself in reading, and enjoys a good hot drink and an appetizing toast 😋. You and your little four-legged friend have completely understood the true meaning of life. Thank you for this beautiful testimony of friendship between you two, with a video that opens the mind and the heart. I wish you both a very nice week. Friendships, Phil
Thank you for those kind words Phil. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed this little video. Yes, he sure knows how to enjoy himself. 🐶👍 Take care my friend! 🎶🎹🎸

Beautiful Area and nice choice to Relax. Your 🐶 sleeping looked so peaceful Both in the tent and outside. Look forward to your next video Be safe from California😎👍👍⬆️
Thank you Ben. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙂 I hope you are doing well in sunny California! 👋😎

Really neat work 👍
Hi from California. Last time I watched your Channel was before COVID and if I remember your dog traveling in a Van. Hope your doing good and I will have to watch All your videos from before. Nice camping trip👍
Thanks for the comment Ben! I didn’t see it until now. 😄
Best Caddy Camper I have seen so far. And I have seen a lot. I have one question: Would you rather have a two part back door instead of the lift door? Sorry for my poor english 😊
Thank you. I’m glad you like it. 🙂 Actually I would have bought the one with two part back door. I bought with the lift door, because I thought it would be more practical when it rains. But here where I live it usually rains sideways, so it's not much help. 😄 One advantage with the lift door is that you can buy a tent which fits nicely. But they are pretty expensive. So my advice would be to buy the one with two part back door. And you can also put a tarp over the doors to get some shelter from the rain. Another advantage is that the doors can be opened from the inside. That is not possible with the lift doors unless you do some modifications to it. Good luck and safe travels! 🙂
@@DetenkleFriluftsliv Thanks. I'm going for the Maxi Version with the two part door. So many more options I think. Stay safe.
Could you in one of your videos please talk a little bit about the equipment you’re using? That would be interesting. 🙂 Greetings from Svalbard
Hello again. Have you seen Erik Normark’s channel? He lives in Sweden. I just told him about your channel. I think the way you make videos are very similar. 🙂 Merry Christmas! Greetings from Svalbard 🎄❄️
Editing my footage on an old iPad doesn´t help, because I´m not able to do much to improve the footage. So the colors remain pretty pale and doesn’t really recreate the beautiful colours nature has to offer. (Make sure to chose the highest resoution 720p). But anyway, I hope you will enjoy this video, and hopefully it will inspire you to seek out nature. And even more important to protect it. Music/sound effect by me. Kjempefin film! :-)
Takk for det. :-)
Så koselig film, Håkon 😊
Tusen takk. :-)
Nice🤩 I love The beatiful nature. Lucky you!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful! I look forward to our next mountain-Hike.
Me too! 👍🙂👍
Hi my dear friends Håkon & Stanley, I can assure you that your video is beautiful, even if I find that the colors are not as faithful as you would like. I was delighted by this excursion, to discover the landscapes of your beautiful country. This orange-toned mountain is a fairyland, reinforced by your little magic notes. I thank you for this beautiful moment, and wish you and Stanley wonderful moments of joy for Christmas. Friendships from France, Phil 🎄🎅🥂🍾
Hi! Thank you very much my friend. :-) I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed it. I try the best I can to document the highlights, but at the same time be present in "the moment." It can be difficult to balance sometimes with beautiful nature around you. ;-) I wish you a nice and peaceful Christmas 🎄🎸🎹
@@DetenkleFriluftsliv Thank you so much my dear friend for your good wishes 😉🎵🎄
Wow, I really enjoyed this. Such beautiful nature. And your notes on the guitar makes it even more atmospheric. You deserve more viewers. Tack! ❤
Thank you very much Elisa. :-)
Håkon, takk, for finally sharing this video with us 😉, it was worth the wait. I'm glad you were able to go hiking and so happy to see these beautiful landscapes that I miss so much, to hear your voice and the sound of your guitar 😊. Don't worry, the pictures are beautiful. Hugs for Stanley 😗
Thanks again Nathalie! Say hi to your forlegged friends from me ;-)
Hei, beautiful video, where everything is calm and quiet, perfect. Nice hat, from a distance the pattern looks like Hélora, but maybe it's Ulf ? I see you made another video, I'll watch it after the obligatory outing with the dogs 😉. I don't see Stanley, reassure me, is he fine 🤞 ? Take care of yourself. 🤗
Thank you Nathalie. :-) Actually it’s surpose to be a Norwegian Buhund. But in my opinion it looks more like a Lego-Buhund. :-) Bought it from a woman online. But it keeps my head warm, and that’s what’s important! I wish you and yours a nice and peaceful Christmas
Lego-buhund 😂👌
Wonderful nature, there! Have a nice week end, Cristina
Thank you Cristina! I´m glad you enjoyed it. You have a nice weekend too. :-)
So glad to finally find a new video on your channel! Very relaxing voiceover. Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮
So many clever creative storage solutions in this, definitely going to steal some ideas for my build
So beautiful. ❤😢🐾 What a lucky boy he was. All the best - Elisa ❤️
Wow! This is so atmospheric. 😮
Beautiful Hakon! These views are so amazing. So nice to see how much Stanley is enjoying himself. ❤ All the best - Elisa
Thank you Elisa. :-)
Wow! I simply LOVED this! ❤️ Amazing landscape. The commentary relaxes me and so does you playing. I prefer to be alone too when I’m hiking. Suddenly running into people is not very fun. 😬😄 I hope Stanley will recover soon. 🐾❤️Please post again soon! 😊 - Elisa
Thank you Elisa. I´m glad you enjoyed it. :-)
Truly spectacular ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it Kaitlyn. :-)
Beautiful place and video! Have a lovely week, Cristina
Thank you! Same to you Cristina :-)
Hi my dear friends Håkon and & Stanley, You offer us here a magnificent documentary on this beautiful and pure nature. These mountain landscapes offer such soothing views, with proof that some sites are still virgin without humans destroying their magnificence. Compared to the equipment used to film, I find that your video is very beautiful, and that it manages to restore this enchanting setting. The gentle flow of the river, the crackling of the wood fire, and the wind, allowed me to participate in this beautiful getaway. I thank you and congratulate you for this beautiful lesson in life. With all my friendship to you both, your friend from France, Phil
Hi! Thank you very much my friend, for the very kind message. It was definitely good to be back. And I hope my little four-legged companion will be able to join me soon. :-) I hope you are doing well, and hope to be seeing some more of your beautiful composition and music on your channel soon.
