I had only seen Richard Lewis a few times in the 1980's , but I really got to "know him" and fully "appreciate him" during his time on Curb Your Enthusiasm during the 2000's...He certainly saved his best for that great series...One of the great comedians of all time!!! RIP...

What a great 👍 interview. Richard Lewis was right. Young people never appreciated Jerry's humor. When I was 8 or 9 years old, I wasn't into him either. It wasn't until I got older, did I realize he was a genius. I always enjoyed Richard's stand up routines. He was funny on Curb Your Enthusiasm as well. His dramatic performance in the movie Drunks was phenomenal. I really truly miss him 😢.

I presume Joyce posted this......Richard was so unique and funny and lovely. I am from England but lived in the states in the 80's and I saw him on Letterman and also live in San Francisco in the 80's in the Haight at The Other Cafe and followed his career always. He will never be forgotten. All the best to you Joyce and his loved ones.
