Up early this morning and thought a quick flight would be in order. But I went too far, too high, and lost visual. I attempted to reacquire the AV, but as the video will show, Home Lock failed to function as it was supposed to and I had to resort to emergency mode to bring it home. Software version 3.2 Little miffed about Home Lock not performing.

Windy morning and it was going to get worst. I went over to the local park but the carnival was in town... but decided that wasn't enough to stop me. The stabilized gimbal was very impressive and I'll have to plan my flights out now for more usable footage.

I did this video a few years back when I was a contractor for UAS at Ft Huachuca, Arizona. It covers the launch of the Shadow from engine start to launch. You can listen in on some of the procedures involved in the launch during pressurization. It's a bit long, but I added a slow mo' at the end of the launch...

This is an accidental test of the DJI Phantom's return home feature. I never intended to try this feature out, until I had no choice...
