sure! you could probably do this without mods, but I like to use the cjb item spawner to make it easy to get all the furniture, noclip mode so you can walk out of bounds, and the cjb cheats menu so I can freeze the time at 6 am and 10 pm (for the night time shots) so all of the pictures have the same lighting. I first build the entire interior and save it. I then take screenshots (it’s an in-game feature, at the bottom of your settings), starting with the room that will come last in the video, and start removing items one by one while taking the screenshots. Make a new folder to save the pictures in for each room you screenshot. For the next step you need some sort of photo editing software that lets you batch edit the size of multiple pictures without losing quality. I use procreate (on ipad) because I already had it and didn’t want to buy another program just for this, but I’m sure there are easier ways to do it on desktop. On procreate I just drag all images of a room into one file as different layers. I always make my videos 4k, so 3840x2160 pixels, but whatever size you pick, make sure that the images you’re cropping have the same ratio. I then export all layers as separate png files and create a new 4k canvas, import all the cropped images, select all of the layers by swiping them to the right and fit them to canvas, while the interpolation setting is on nearest neighbor, instead of bilinear or bicubic. If you use a different program, that is probably the most important feature it must have because that is what makes the image preserve the pixel art, instead of getting blurry. I then export all the 4k files, and start editing the video. I use imovie because it’s free and can do anything I need it to do, but I’m sure most editing softwares would work. I begin by adding a short clip of random 4k footage, because imovie does have this weird bug where if I only put in pictures, the video can’t be exported in 4k, but it does allow me to do so when I add a bit of actual video in 4k, but delete that footage before exporting. 🙃 I then drag all the images into imovie and start adding the sound effects. I’m probably not going to continue doing this step honestly after I’m done with the spouse interiors, because I can’t rip the sound from the game myself on mac (if you’re on windows, there are ways to do it), so I’m using a combination of sound files people uploaded to the internet and some I just made myself by recording the game, but the quality and volume is just really bad compared to the soundtrack so I haven’t really been able to get it to sound how I want. Maybe this is better if you extract the sound effects yourself. Anyway, I add a fitting sound effect to every picture (doesn’t take that long if you use keyboard shortcuts for copying and pasting), make sure all of the pictures are 0.4 seconds long, and then add a cross dissolve transition to all images. This makes every picture 0.2 seconds long now + 0.2 seconds for the transition, which I found the nicest pace, but you could experiment with making it longer or shorter. I then just change the length of the last two frames of every room to 2 seconds with a 1 second transition in the middle and add the background music, intro, and outro, and export the video. hope this helps!

I used the cjb item spawner to make it easier to get all the items, so this was how I was able to get them. I assumed there would be a way to obtain them through normal gameplay as well, but so far I haven't been able to find out how. I really hope CA makes them available somehow in a future patch, because the sprites are there in the files

yes I do want to do this! I didn't do this before because I was kind of struggling to come up with ideas for standard and four-corners, but I'll at least make one for the other types ✨

I would like to make some designs with modded furniture and/or based on modded characters eventually, but I have a lot of ideas for vanilla stardew that I want to work on first + I haven't really played with the expanded mod yet, so I would like to play through it and get to know the characters well first 😅

I recommend checking out the stardewvalleywiki, they have a section with all the furniture in the game and how to obtain it. most items are from the furniture catalogue you can buy from robin. it would take a really long time to type out all the items used, and I don't really feel like it's worth the effort because most items are pretty easy to find. but if you do have items you can't find, I always try to answer wcif questions in my comments, so feel free to ask ✨
