It shifts good, I found out that I didn’t like the gear ratio compared to what sram and shimano offer. I felt like I could never find the right gear to be in. Maybe it’s because of the 34t chainring..

I would stay out of bunker hill, osprey( very sandy at times) and half pipe. Otherwise very beginner friendly. If there is a climb that is too much you can always walk it😉

That’s a really good question! I happen to have both hubs and I’ll tell you that the rapid drive 108t bontrager is a bit louder and in my opinion a way better hub then the 1/1.

You can probably get away with a very light coat of the grease. Too much and the pawls might not engage properly. If you want it quieter go with a hub specific grease which will not be as thick.

lol thanks man, I agree. It takes nothing to be kind to people. I see a lot of rude people who are mean to new folks learning to ride. My favorite is when they try to push me when I’m just doing a chill ride and the pass me and are nasty, I just pedal down and ride their ass until they get tired😂😂😂😂

According to the manufacturers..."While the “W-D” in WD-40 stands for Water Displacement, WD-40 Multi-Use Product is a unique, special blend of lubricants. The product’s formulation also contains anti-corrosion agents and ingredients for penetration, water displacement and soil removal...It does not attract dirt or moisture to metal surfaces." They are pretty vague though and sell a specific product for chains but reviews are not that enthusiastic. @@ridedirtymtb9938

They are holding up great!!! I still have them on the hardtail and I haven’t had any issues with bearings or pins coming loose🤟

Interesting, I haven’t heard of that. The only issue I’ve noticed is the none drive bearing keeps going. I’ll have to check my axle to see if that’s the case. But to answer your question, it should not be an issue changing axles. Just keep in mind that if you hammer out your old bearings you will need new ones and a you will need a bearing press

The crank arm might not be where it needs to be. There’s a small hole on the spindle where the that piece fits into.

It does happen, you have to be careful to put it on straight because it can bend.

It’s been great so far, have to get used to the nine tooth for sure. Need the extra leg power to get the extra speed😂

I think they all feel pretty similar, with the exception of the 9 tooth gear on the helix.

I just used a chain whip tool and the standard cassette tool tool. Keep in mind the helix is a two piece.

No, the shifter must be the same as the cassette as that is what index’s the shifts

It is possible to bend any derailuer cage, if carbon they crack or snap( haven’t seen on) I’m not sure I understand the question but if the cogs are contacting the cassette you have to check your b tension
